I qualify and have qualifed for food stamps, heap and other benefits but
They refuse me because I pay my rent each month, my rent is $1100.
I borrow that money from my 401K plan.
I have no more money left.
There is no Section 8 or low income housing, those wait lists were closed in 2007.
Its really milarky the whole lot. On one hand they give masses of people who my taxes pay for their housing, food, medical care and I am far more qualified to receive those very benefits.
The city is very crooked, who will straighten, apparently noone.
I will go to those services tomorrow and apply again anyway and fight them for their feeble hypocrisy. For I have never been on those benefits and I should be able to get them. After all I have paid for them all my life. And isn't it true that I am being truly discriminated upon in the job market that my skills and experience are superior to anyone's but my age and skin color are being held against me?

I changed my Best of Trendy to a gripe machine when Governor Patterson took away our affiliate business in New York State.
When New York City just became a game of who shall we screw over in real estate that is when my health started to go down. When I entered my primary physician's office I was an asthmatic diagnosed with first stage lung and pulmonary disease. Its not my body its this skunk way the city is run.
Even though there is often oppressive smoke in my apartment it is not an nth of the degree is was in the last apartment. True we had no bed bugs there, I've never had them ever in my life. I've never had these whelps or scalp problem ever before in my life.
Both problems are due to a fat assed run city, a city that always sleeps when it comes to helping the citizens who pay the taxes that run it. Its our labor you spit on.
I was downtrodden by that smoke in the first apartment it made me so ill as to keep me away from work for two days. That law firm effectively blacklisted me and sent me a rejection letter for my permanent last stages application. The same law firm used me and I do mean used me this passed year for 8 days in a quarter period. That is why my unemployment is now $66 a month.
I must say the Labor Department always has to be taught how to do their job when I make a new claim. They left off a quarter, left it blank. In that spot goes an agency that is always left off no matter what corrections I get them to make. In fact I told the claim person on the phone this time they are missing from the employers I worked for. She asked questions and then she failed me once again. It will take months, it will take a priority mail to the Commissioner before this gets fixed. This should settle my currently poverty going to be homeless next month situation.
Why is it that New York State Labor department royally fucks people over and when corrected they are not fined, penalized or have to make any restitution to their victims. This will be the third time they have put me in poverty. This will be the last time because as I promised last time their failure to do their job will land them in the NY Supreme Court for jurisdictional intervention. I will charge them one million dollars. I will get it because I have proven beyond the doubt that they willfully neglected their duties and caused me undue suffering, they caused me to have no home and no food and no health care. Truly they are the devil's work.
So here I go having to do hours upon hours of work while their lamo staff goofs up time and time again. And to think Obama wanted to appoint the person who heads up this department to head up our Nation's program.
Noone has ever helped me. No one hears my cry. I pay my bills and I will be living in a homeless shelter. What a bitch you people are. I hate you.
I fixed my radiator at least for the last 3 hours
All day long that radiator was banging.
I had to have the window up, its still up.
The temperature was 87 degrees with the valve closed.

Finally I put the valve up, silence , then banging

After an hour I turned the valve down
Too much still there has been silence
the temperature is now down to a normal 74.9 with 25 degree humidity
and the window is still up.

I was writing my aunt that all this nyccrud stuff goes to its blog and best of trendy is going back to being famous and about trends.
I feel this is a symbolic move as I put my WorkForce1 IT grant for paralegal in to the email to the point person who is sitting on my current grant lol what to do what to do
I swear I looked through the whole http://www.nyc.gov/trainingguides for journalism training or something related... nothing lol
I actually called an authorized vendor for computer training today, they claimed to have pell grants. However after talking to the rep I'm like way too low level for me. I'd found three ads I qualified for. One was Bloomberg Finance programmer. I totally qualified. All I wanted was to put a couple of recent programming courses on my resume. Is that too much to ask?
I already have a letter from a computer vendor and that one was taken off the site the day of my grant.
There is literally no way that they can deny me the paralegal, for I have worked as a top legal secretary in the field for six years and have won my own court cases in civil and labor courts. They'll be tripping if they deny me that grant. The grant is not from the first paralegal school I received an authorization letter from. Its from a nationally acclaimed program at Wagner College that I do online. lol Geekboy said I would be a dynamite but fearsome paralegal. Its funny all the six agencies who are responsible for my employment didn't want me to do this grant. They said it was way under me. Lol the point is to get a job. The amount of jobs they got me last year resulted in $60 a week unemployment. I think I'll listen to Geekboy. Besides the companies whose ads I chose are not lawfirms, god no. They are governing entities for financial institutions. Lol perfect!

Its just that the super was here on Friday because lol they were helping the next door neighbor and not me. Nope they are ignoring me; why? Because I have a super law case that is going to be bonked on them if they don't start paying attention.
These are scammer property managers applauded by the top real estate magazines and business week as being successful. Hmm how come all the residents in this building talk about them and what they say is scammer stuff.

Yes the super said that the refrigerator needed to be replaced. He would ask the property manager. Nothing was done.
On Monday they made this big deal about being here at 8am. There super speak was not of anytime from 8-noon arrangement; it was you better be here at 8am. LOL like my experience with having any appointment with this super is zero, none.
At 8:45am, 45 minutes after the super's fixed appointment I rang him up. He says "I have an emergency and can't come." I said "when will you come?" He says "ma'am I have an emergency." He further states "these tenants are something else. I'm just going to hang up on her." and he did.
lol yesterday's post. The Super and his assistant came at 10am and replaced the toilet. He says "anything else?" lol I guess that's training for every customer service person nowadays, ask but don't mean it.
I say "the refrigerator, look, you turned the knob to 3 and all my food was ruined, frozen and molded." He calls up the refrigerator repair service. Why? because that is what the property manager had told him on Friday and he had not done it. They say they will come. I ask when? A great attitude comes upon this super. He asks them. they reply tomorrow. I ask when? His face gets angry. He asks. They say 11-4pm and I say ok. I mean what else can you do? yawn...
The refrigerator guy comes at 12:30pm and he immediately states the refrigerator has to be replaced. I ask him "who will you tell? The super or the property manager, the landlord?" He replies "the landlord".
This post is evidence of the refrigerator man's pronouncement.
Now I already had written the property manager over a week ago about the refrigerator, the heater and the toilet and received no answer.
The only reason I am having sudden progress since their scammer promises of over 9 months ago is because when I heard that super fixing the next door lady's radiator I'm like oh come on. I said when will you fix the toilet in my apartment? how about my radiator? how about my fridge?
Lol so now we are stuck with each other, and they are trying to figure out how to get out of it. Their success principles state to never put one drop of money on the sponsor apartments. To harass them until they leave and drop their two month's deposit. High turnover is necessary for this formula to work. Scratching their head some more, why hasn't this formula worked with her. We must increase our harassment. The guy below me, the barking dog owner, said that this coop was a very rich coop. Get the picture?
The super on time and his attendant were here only two minutes and in the middle of the toilet the property manager calls them and says don't waste any time there and gives them another job that is more important than having their tenant have a toilet that flushes on the first try. They don't mind that their water bills are sky high, each time I used the toilet I flush from 6 to 15 times and still there is a problem. I also have to clean the toilet each time and it does not do that kind of flushing. Well that's over now, as of yesterday. Now its one flush and extremely loud noise, its like a big sucking machine. Too much.
I showed the super the thermometer showing 85 degrees, I told him the radiator was making unearthly noise. They knew it was hot. The refrigerator man could hardly stand to stay. Geekboy knows; he was sweating here this weekend.
The Super's response to the radiator was nothing. No matter how I asked or explained he said nothing.
Come Thursday I will be down at HPD's office with a recording of the musicians, a sound monitoring, a recording of the radiator sounds and pictures of the heat settings. There is no way they cannot just say no further action needed.
The HPD and this landlord are in quite a mess, their actions are no less than harassment, discrimination and negligence.
I wonder what did I do. Because from day one they were harassing me. Wonder no more they do this to all of their tenants. One tenant told me they said the bed bugs were in her mind. I have an email stating that I am crying wolf and that there were no bed bugs. However this is a response to them stating I myself never said there were bed bugs. Your bed bug beagle, your notice and your neighbors said there were. I had severe whelps due to something and they were in the pattern that bed bugs leave. I have pictures of everything that has happened in this apartment as well as all the correspondence and diaries.
I am not ready for court as I have one more medical report and I want to see what these people are going to do about the refrigerator. I am giving them plenty of time well, to hang themselves.

Toasted or just half-done
My super claimed he would be here on Monday at 8:00AM.
He said are you going to be here, sure?
I found that amusing at the time.
So at 8:45am and a no-show, a famous status for this property management team, I called him up. He said he had an emergency and can't come. I said when will you come. He said ma'am I have an emergency. Then he talks to his assistant and says these tenants are something else. I'm hanging up on her.
I postponed an appointment for a couple of hours.
The super and his assistant showed up at 10:00am. I'm like they couldn't even tell me 10-noon.
They replaced the toilet engine with a new one. That speaks volumes on if your real estate agent tells you that you can't test the toilet because they shut it off when the apartment is not occupied that this isn't the apartment for you. Even though I had the property manager and his assistant in this apartment on the second week of May and they said they would replace the toilet as it was not functioning and a host of items they would fix they did not do it. I had asked them do you want me to call and remind you and they say they put it into their computer and do it.
Well they did not and I reminded them 3 months later when the shipped part was supposed to be there and they said they didn't know. I wrote them four times afterwards about the toilet and they ignored it.
Apparently their functioning super was ill and instead of hiring someone who could do the job they just did nothing, said nothing. They were even able to get HPD not to answer my call. They have been able to get the Building Department to post that no further action was necessary on the commercial music going on next door.
To some degree the commercial music has diminished and as soon as I say it they start up obnoxiously for several hours with it.
So now I have functioning toilet after 9 months. As to the refrigerator that freezes my food they called up the service company. When I asked when? They made the same arrogant face. I do not stay here during the day. I need to know when so I can be here obviously.
The refrigerator company gave 11-4 for tomorrow. What a piece of work. It will be a relief to have a refrigerator that works and does not make outrageous noises all the time. I had not used the refrigerator until a couple of months ago. It had been so horribly dirty that even after I finished cleaning it impeccably I still could not bear the thought of it. When I came to the realization that the quality of my life was impaired by not having the ability to have a few items on hand I turned the refrigerator on only to find that it ruined all my vegetables within an hour.
This management company knew they were giving me junk. I had applied for an apartment only $100 more in rent. What they did was take my application and money and then say well we don't think you have the finances for this so we are going to decide which apartment would be right for you. Did they even have that first apartment for rent? I think not. I believe they use that to scam alot of people.
As to the furnace I doubt seriously they'll address it. I told them it was 90 degrees all weekend long and I was only able to get it down by raising the window for five hours. I think they'll not do anything for me on that.
As to the cigarette smoke and the musicians that is something I have to take them to court for as they'll not be doing anything. They don't even answer. When I first moved in they faked a meeting with the board member downstairs and said he didn't smoke. I said I didn't say he smoked and that's not how smoke works in a building.
I can hardly move out right now when the Labor Department has pretty much raped me of benefits due me. I have to take them to court now.
Its far more simpler for all parties if you just be honest and do the right thing. However there is money to be had for making things incredibly chaotic and that is what New York State does in every facet of its responsibility to its citizens.

Geekboy witnessed the state of beyond toasted. It was 100 degrees. The vitamins I need to take and that are tres expensive are to be in a cool cupboard space. The cupboard space was 100 degrees. Deja vu I'd wondered why they were smelling, because while I was away they were toasting. They were toasting while my vegetables in my frig were freezing. The super said ah just put it on 3. I said no that freezes them. I kept it in 3 and my carrots and cranberry apple juice are frozen solid. I want to show the blundering idiots this as I take an iphone video of their thinking process.
Currently this is my state.
And the furnace? It's toasted, lol... feels good :)

Sweating it out in the Noticeable Discomfort Zone
Currently it is 35 degrees F in NYC
inside this lovely upper East side townhouse the temperature is 84.2 degrees F
with a relative humidity of 38 degrees

LOL so how did I get the humidity up. Three Tin Cans filled with water on top of the radiator. Go Green, no electricity, recycling. I can bring the humidity up to perfect pitch 46 by taking a shower. However sadly with the high temperature we are still at noticeable discomfot.

I received the rent bill today... the property management company cashed last month's check and ignored the lettercorrecting their egregious math errors. Its like jagermeiser math, not the mayor's mojito math.
They ignored my letter that corrected all of their bill errors.
So we should be on par with our rent right?
First off we know the lease has been changed, they changed the rent among a host of illegalities. The pages that have no initials are changed.
My rent is $1100, the two months deposit and all the rents paid verify that rent.
It doesn't matter what they changed, deductions, credits. These are not plain language, or legal lease language.
I went to a lawyer months ago with my lease. He could not understand the lease. I had to explain it. Then I said the judge will have quite the giggle its entirely illegal. They will not get far in any case where this document is present.
So here we have the bottom line on this post.
Todays bill states that my rent is now $1400 and that I owe $255 in arrears. I have been here 8 months and there are 11 checks each for $1100. Do the math?
Just another item of harassment as so far not knowing what the shoe thing again Governor of this state has conjured up for his subjects you cannot just change the lease amount month to month upon your whim or poor math skills.

I have been struggling with a problem
with my scalp since moving into this apartment. It got really bad after the landlord wrote that he was victorious over the bed bugs. In the letter the second and third paragraph asked if the tenants and residents had bed bugs and to let the property manager know immediately if they did.
When I let the property manager know that no diatemaceous soil placement or any checkup on the apartment I reside in had occurred and there was some bug, do not know if its bed bug that is causing irritations to my scalp.
The property manager wrote back to quit calling wolf and that there were no bed bugs in my apartment. He said if I wish to move I could do so without penalty.
I have the pictures of all my whelps during this period of time. Actually the iphone pictures were lost because well AT&T's software crashed that item. Geekboy pays for my iphone. LOL do you think my unemployment of $60 a week could?
I took pictures of the bug invasion and was able to bag some of the bugs. During this time Medicaid and I were fighting so that I could have healthcare enough to get help with the whelps. I was not able to get the care I needed. Finally when I saw the dermatologist, month later he was frivolous with the appointment proclaiming what a healthy flawless person I was. It took me two more months to get the new dermatologist. In between I saw an allergist who proclaimed there were no allergy tests for bed bugs. The new dermatologist stated that the allergist was wrong that there were tests.
My new dermatologist stated that anytime that I thought there were bug problems to come on in and they will see me immediately. That's a relief.
My primary physician was so consumed with the breast cancer that she thought I had because of the negligent imaging center that she would not listen to anything i was telling or asking her. She poohed my foot doctor and rolled her eyes about the allergy and dermatologist.
Actually the allergy and dermatologist are most useful. They bonafide proved that I have high allergies to bed bugs, roaches, dust mites and sulfa, and aromatic amines (meaning cigarette smoke). The 22 needle test of the allergist was a great control for me. I took pictures of it. You can put those pictures side by side with the pictures of my whelps from the bed bugs.
Why bed bugs and not just a cockroach? Well the cockroaches that were found in this apartment were in the emptied closet and on the wall next to the musician far away from my bed. There was one outside the at the time empty apartment next door, an apartment the landlord could have easily offered to get away from immediate harm from the bed bug extermination. He did not, he ignored me. No small cockroaches have been seen or found. The cockroaches I speak of are huge, they are tree cockroaches.
Most importantly though, a bed bug beagle was brought in to inspect apartments in the building. That is why 311 would not be able to help me as the landlord was taking steps.
The bed bug beagle identified the end of my leather sofa bed as having bed bugs and the docile bloodshot eyed dog also barked at me. At that time I was experiencing the scalp irritations. The dermatologist did a biopsy on my scalp and quaified the irritations of my scalp. If PPD were a problem with my couch would I have had scalp irritations years before? The couch is a few years old. I did not. I received my first whelp within a month of living in this apartment. At that time I took all my clothes out of the closet and washed them and put them in plastic clothes bags. I steamed the closet in its entirety as it smelled like what I came to recognize bed bugs. There were reasons for that. The framing around the closet inside and out as well as the bathroom is corroded. Why the property manage hit the bathroom frame and it bounced off, he hit it back on again. This is a haven for bed bugs as well as many significant gaps in the floors, the radiator, the cracks in the seams of the ceiling and floor.
The landlord/property manager promised to take care of his apartment's disrpair in May 2009. Before he exterminated for the bed bugs I asked that 1) he repair these items 2) replace my sofa bed that had been found infected and 3) provide a place for me to be away from an extermination that recommended those with asthmatic conditions be away for a few days. The allergist as well as primary doctor will vouch for asthmatic conditions present in me at this time. The landlord/property manager ignored my requests and their exterminator lied to me and said the extermination was different and asthmatic conditions, well, I need only be away for 4 hours. I was dreadfully ill for a week. I asked them not to spray my sofa bed and they did. The residue and smell was all over the couch. This is the obnoxiousness of a slumlord. They own the courts and they will damn well do what they please!
There is much correspondence re bed bugs between myself and the property manager as well as their numerous flyers. Why the very first conversation I had with the property manager was recorded. I took it to the civil court and they said it was mild harassment. Their response to my question about neighbors coming up to me and warning me to not buy new furniture or put anything on the floor as there were bed bugs was met by the property manager stating move out of our building within 24 hours or suffer the penalty. The penalty? Two years of rent paid immediately.

still you have to see the whole mess of this. That it is incredibly hard to prove your landlord's negligene if you do not have established healthcare. That took a very long time, insurmountable amounts of my time, time where the agencies refused to give me any time off from work to take an appointment. Their response to my question about neighbors coming up to me and warning me to not buy new furniture or put anything on the floor as there were bed bugs was met by the property manager stating move out of our building within 24 hours or suffer the penalty. The penalty? Two years of rent paid immediately.

still you have to see the whole mess of this. That it is incredibly hard to prove your landlord's negligene if you do not have established healthcare. That took a very long time, insurmountable amounts of my time, time where the agencies refused to give me any time off from work to take an appointment. You have physicians just throwing my time away because of their petty personal biases. Even the good dermatologist way overbooks to where my appointments are stretched out to 2-3 hours of waiting. When the appointment actually happens he is too busy to even give me qualified time. This last time they skimmed over everything in a minute.
My scalp is still a raging red. Probably because the excessive heat has brought back the bugs. This time though I can just pop in to the dermatologist after I go get another referral that is. I wonder if that primary physician has got over her breast cancer thing so that we can talk about the problem with my feet and scalp. These are important items. If she cannot I will get a new provider. I still have some time on my account. I will use it very well not in biased waste.

Evident Discomfort the excessive heating issues continue
The apartment therapy has a discussion on toaster apartments in New York City. I can't imagine leaving my window open here, people, large roaches and small mice come on in along with tons of air pollutants and cigarette smokes. The air is not fresh. Humidifier? This apartment tends to be too humid. I have to demold the bathroom every two weeks and have light cleaners everywhere. Its 1:44Am 84.6 degrees and 32 humidity. The heat problem just started five days ago and we've had far colder weather before then without the apartment going toasty. That's why I wrote the landlord. That's about as far the call for help will go. I'm hoping they might fix the toilet that has malfunctioned (requires 6 - 8 flushes per use) since moving in 8 months ago as they said they would and throw a tip about how their radiators run in the building. I emailed my landlord a few hours ago.
No response expected until late tomorrow.
Its absurd that this has gone on for a week, but alas I have incredible amounts of things I must do in a day. Real reason though is historically no response from landlord or city (except ridiculous accusations and excuses). One tends to let things slide hoping things might change for the better.
The 311 and NYC government is not interested in discomfortable situations.
I have not called them. They still haven't replied to the building violation, gosh do I have to check up on it. Its so frustrating that I have to constantly do their work. Whatever happened to automation?
If the landlord does not answer by tomorrow morning I will call their office.
I hate doing that. Experience has shown it will result in harassment.
Best to get it the issue down into something recordable.
I run a

in my apartment 24/7. In situations like this I flip it on me. That could account for why the meter is possibly about 5 degrees higher and the doors hot. Trust me everyday I look for a different slumlord to hook up with lol.I have a hygrometer from my days in hell in central harlem.
I found a nifty calculator online that will give comfort levels for the information delivered by the hygrometer.
I laughed as 'evident discomfort' popped up. New York City Health Department told me after a year of making believe they were doing something and reporting that they were; that many people are uncomfortable with cigarette smoke in their apartments. The City has more real problems than yours to deal with.
Ever notice the police issue is like that also. I saw a police car chase down this old man driver for who knows what. He wasn't speeding. They had 6 police cars after him by the time he reached Lexington and 96th. I was walking their course with them, that's how fast the poor man was going. The police blocked the man off at lexington and opened the door and dragged the man out and threw him into their car. Everyone was standing there agawk. I'm not the only one following them. I took pictures. What a great photo op indeed. Real issues in the City.
All I can do is keep a log. I'm still looking for a calculator that lets you enter outside temperature and indoor temperature and humdity. We are so near the border line of humidity comfort at 33 Relative Humidity.
During the day, when I am at home, I have been raising the window for a few minutes to lower the temperature a few degrees.
The guy who sits out on his landing in one of the highrises in the back has his spy camera or zoomer or whatever tonight. When I see that I never open the window. Earlier today he was in the building next to the one he usually is at and facing the open glass doors. It seemed he knew the people. I ought to take his picture. Its a big shoulder black image, pretty definitive.
Another factor for window down? window up? is there are so many smokers smoking outside their window that I call it nicotine alley. I measured the air when the window is down and its 1000x the standard for very poor air. There is a loot of environmentally unsafe work violations there lol. Ick no wonder barking dog is unhappy when he is left outside.
I was gone for most of the day. When I came home the knob on my apartment door was hot as well as the door and the food inside the cupboard. It was over 90 degrees in the apartment. Mind you I completely closed the radiator valve down days ago. LOL the refrigerator has never worked; it freezes the food in the refrigerator and makes noises all night. Lovely $1100 a month apartment, one window, looking onto the landings of the possibly richer upper east siders. They sure keep their rooms messy.

The Mud is Now Off the Wall
Lol so after finding out that I would have to go through the fight again for health insurance come February I went ahead and chose the lesser of two evils.
I returned to a different imaging center that had also pre-certified me for the additional mammographic views and sonogram, even if test negative, biopsy not ruled out, prescription.
LOL the previous imaging center's doctor had typed in huge letters and underlined each word FIRST MAMMOGRAM EVER. (Aren't they too much?) I had been so tempted to write after that proclamation of war in Orange AND LAST!!!! :P
I called the new center up yesterday and made an appointment for this morning. They knew exactly what tests I was to take and said I was already certified for them.
So there I am at their check in desk and they give me a whole bunch of forms. They told me I had to pay for the sonogram no matter what insurance I had. If I signed a paper giving my ok then well I would have to pay only $200, if I refused I would have to pay $400. They can just do the mammographic views.
I said thank you for the choices, however I have my own choice. I won't be taking any test today. The test has to be taken in its entirety or it is not the prescription the doctor ordered. I asked them if I could have a copy of that release form. They said I could have a copy only if I signed it.
I said thank you and headed out the door. They called me back and said wait a minute while we check on something. After their conference on my situation I was told ok you will not be billed and we will do all the tests.
Oh had I only gone out that door; I was given more mammograms than at the screening. They very every day lied to me the entire time saying that the radiation was not harmful look at them they work with it all day every day. hmm I noticed working was different that slamming someone's boob into it on the minute. They would never treat an animal this way, oops, this is the way they treat cows.
This center is way better in every respect than the other center. Sure I had a little more experience with these things. I told them every time they talked to me that I want to see the doctor when the tests are done. That I would be waiting for results, no more of this month wait stuff. They do this already. They are professional. They were kind to me in every service they provided.
The sonogram hurt. I never had one of those maybe that's why.
Anyway after some waiting I was told the doctor wanted to talk to me. I did not even have to sit down. She said everything is fine. You can go. No problems.
I looked at the new mammograms on the screen and they were perfect just like my feet, beautiful. They should use my mammograms as the standard, lol.
I called up the cancer coloring primary physician and said the doctor said there was no problem. She said well she would have to see the report.
LOL I'm firing her anyway. Not because of this fiasco but because she ridiculed my foot doctor's care. But first, I'm going to ask her for another referral for another foot doctor. A doctor who is not teaching college because today I had a hard time walking on the foot that has the bone sticking out of it. Whatever they say I am going to do, end of story.
As to the court case, its still very much in consideration. Although there was one judge in civil court that said you aren't getting anything unless you have cancer, the reality is if the cigarette smoke is so bad that it makes a tenant throwup, dizzy and get asthma, well then, buh-bye habitability and afterall that is what the case is about. The medical expertise needed for claim has already been established. The city would like to call it uncomfortable, HUD called it "administratively not feasible" (because they are too busy sitting on their lazy asses), current landlord calls the bedbugs "only annoying" and the last landlord refused to even come into the apartment.
IMHO the better, the most excellent my health, the worse it gets for you dudes. The on-the-record diagnosis of first stage lung and pulmonary, intermittant environmentally caused asthma....
Its an interesting case that, well, keeps getting way more interesting. My doctor approved my request for an esophagal doctor. Its the last item. Wheezing diagnosis is very hard to figure out. I deserve to know and I love the idea that the government that causes it, well, is the government that is going to pay for it.
Will I ever do a mammogram or colonoscopy again? Hell No!
I am glad I did them once because I know what they are about. The tests etc made me more conscious of what I was eating. I have no eating problems as I am a vegetarian who is not stuck on any one food. Ah but better, the experience made me more conscious of the damage the city, the State, the feds and of course the landlords are doing to me as well as the masses of New Yorkers.
Once is enough.

Nor are they entitled to continuous 4 hours of such practice at any time. Recording tracks, band rehearsing, playing pieces of your radio show or your musical track or your phone conferences or whatever on your speaker next to the wall and on the floor is clearly not within the realm of being a practicing musician. These are commercial efforts and this building is not so zoned.
If these doughheads had just been in moderation about things with some consideration I would not have had a problem. However, I have submitted a complaint to the HPD two weeks ago about a building zone violation. I have not heard back on this. Just another item to have to deal with a city that really doesn't have its shit together.
For instance, the last four hours of noise have been consumed by undoubtedly illegal concrete drilling in the back of the building that has been shaking my floor. In response to such luxe sound, the musician, having a business conference or editing a radio show on loud speaker has turned up the volume even more. Should I be on a phone conversation with my mom such musician plays even louder as if to drown me out. Heck my mom can't even hear me.

Just Say No! to Exploitation of Breast Cancer
Do companies want you to be aware of Breast Cancer or are they just plain guilty so they keep seeking more ways to profit and more months in the year to conquer with such awareness. The Breast Cancer Awareness campaigning use to be October now the campaigns have spread to every month of the year. Yes to my queetion years ago, "Is Pink being Held Hostage?"
"Breast Cancer Awareness Month" came about from AstraZeneca, a pharmaceutical company (see Amanda's BlogHer post from yesterday on how drug companies profit from disease marketing) that also manufactures an herbicide known to cause cancer. As other companies jumped on the bandwagon, eager to sell their wares to women who want to do something they can feel good about, the number of products that have links to cancer that are being sold in the name of cancer awareness or even "cures" are concerning. Two prime examples are Revlon, which sponsors a run/walk for breast cancer research and contains high levels of toxic chemicals in some of its products, and Yoplait, whose ubiquitous pink lids must be sent in order for the company to make a donation and who may use dairy products with potentially cancer-causing hormones in them. If you think about it, the logic of buying a bag of pink M&Ms to help prevent breast cancer makes little sense given that obesity increases the risk of breast cancer. If you want to know what goes on in health care in the United States read my blog because I have been a professional with health insurance that I paid $400 a month for and my company claimed they paid the same amount. That health insurance refused to pay for care for my feet and now I am facing that lack of care 15 years later.
I have been a medicaid recipient for all of two months. I provided them with all the facts and they rejected me solely on the basis of my rent. I fought them and won. It was not worth the fight. However I am an expert of the entire system. I spent a great deal of time during those months investigating every sordid aspect of it.

I fought for it for 3-4 months.
I got the most intelligent and honest letter from Medicaid about mid-July, they dated it mid-June, postmark is July, stating that I had been accepted. LOL

Today I called Medicaid up to fire HIP and hire another provider. I asked them to look up when my benefit ended. Yep ends February 1, 2010. Hey thanks cheaters!!!
I do not recommend Medicaid. I will sue them for malpractice regarding a prescription they changed without the doctor's permission that resulted in my scalp peeling. Another case is this mammography scam they are running. Yep we are going to have quite the buffet at Supreme Court, unemployment, new york city, hud, last and present landlord, medicaid. If they should use their status quo line of how many cases are you filing I will ask how many cases have you filed. That's the hypocrisy of it, these lawyers get all upset if you have more than one case. However what is their caseload? :P

Yep Medicaid states that since I pay $1100 a month out of my borrowing from my 401K I am not eligible for Medicaid. I had signed up for a marketing course with the city. They responded with a long letter and I just skimmed it. Later I read it and it said I would have had to have confirmed the confirmation to be considerate of others who might want to take the course. LOL I didn't go to the course because I had not confirmed.

I additionally had an air monitor in both rooms recording directly into the computer the particles that were found, when they were found and how much. On the scale I was living in several hundred over very poor air quality. The New York City Health Department was aware that smokers were in the hallway, elevator, stairs because there was evidence via cigarette butts in these places. I digitally photographed the evidence. There is not one time at which the Department visited that these cigarette butts were not visible. In their forced report they wrote that they saw no evidence. You would have to be blind not to see the evidence. Six witnesses saw the witness. I want to know how much the department got paid to write their careless form letter.
HUD wrote me and verbally told me that I had a case. The hospital records showed that I had lung and pulmonary disease first stage and the proof was on the table that the landlord had not made one visit to the apartment to follow the complaint. In the landlord's reply to HUD they are in contradiction of themselves. Well boys when you lie you should try to keep up with yourself. The landlord was in my apartment and said I should not be having cigarette in my apartment and they would look into it. Today I pull my clean clothes out of storage boxes with an airtight seal. LOL they are filled with cigarette smoke. I don't even need to have my air monitors of filtrettes. I just send a square of uncolored fabric in any of those storage boxes to the lab and test for PPD and nicotine to make it all simple for the boys downtown. LOL
So guess who the players in my next court case are?

I also asked for allergist and dermatologist and foot doctor. There were concrete reasons for those.
Who knows what I have but I will do the requested tests because its now mud on the wall. I will continue to be careful though of whose care I entrust. So far I have not found such care, they are all bastardized science, so far, all about money and nothing more. I shall not trust them.

Complaining about a prescription to the FDA
My dermatologist prescribed a clobex shampoo because my scalp was inflamed.
The pharmacist did not fill the prescription correctly.
Instead of giving me a shampoo they gave me something with 34.5% alcohol and one of the drugs that is included in that shampoo. Within a few hours of applying the "prescription" basically it took a layer of my scalp off.
I take the box to the dermatologist and I say did you prescribe this. He reads it and then he states hey wait a minute, this isn't for scalp this isn't what I prescribed.
I said the pharma took an hour on the phone with Medicaid. Medicaid refused to pay for shampoo. So the pharma changed the prescription without notifying me.
The dermatologist said what is this country coming to, look at the way they are treating you people. lol Let's kick Chuck Schumer out for starters
I'm pretty sure its way too much trouble to file but I'll put this note here and maybe after I put the batteries in my carbon monoxide monitor and figure out why I keep fainting from a radiator whose valve has been closed but keeps the room at 87 and higher.
Got to go lie down...notably not well...

Ok my primary doctor is trying to convince me I have breast cancer ....
So to the facts maam, nothing but the facts. In 2008 the now defacto New York City Health Commissioner (thank heavens he is not running New York City Health Department anymore, provable lies on paper, in due time, in due time) claimed a study that showed women are using mammograms a lot less in the city and all the hyperbole therein. Doc Frieden was scratching his head again, wonder if its the same bald spot scratched during the BIG well what do you know? cotinine crisis. LOL New in the want ad section is there is a need for a director of the obesity crisis. Oh come on...
Anyway take it for what its worth. The claim is that black women are more proactive about doing their mammograms. That black women die from breast cancer more than any other race.
The reason why women do not get mammograms is due to inadequate insurance and no insurance provider.

Lol yeah before you turn the volume down on me listen to my why. I did do a mammogram and the imaging center xrayed one side twice. They did not have me wait in the office for the results. They just dumped me back into the same construction worker/disrobed women waiting space for the bone density which totally took 45 minutes. No time frame was given to me. Several weeks later I asked my primary physician so how was the report. They said I had to go get the report. They said that since I had not heard anything everything was fine. I called up the imaging center and I was told the same and they additionally stated that doctor's offices were messed up and they had sent the bone-density test.
I say wait a minute you did not send me the mammography results. Listen here I inadvertently went the same name hospital for the chest xray on a Saturday and they had the results in my doctor's office on the following Monday (all of two days). If they had done the bone density and the mammogram on Saturdays it would be done already. The representative answered that they would send the bone density results again and would speak personally to the radiologist. There were no calls.
One day maybe 7-8 days later I received a letter. We would like you to come in and have additional mammographic views and a sonogram. Even if these results are negative we do not rule out biopsy. When I visited my primary physician she did not have the report in her file. I broke the news to her. She would not take my copy but ask her assistant to get the report.
That's when she gave me the scare routine. I just sat their calmly. LOL I've seen that fat ass routine way too often. I am not a simple person. I know a lot. I particularly know a lot about my body. My body was not going to undergo more radiation under the baboons who last did it. Additionally by this time I had already received a $300 bill for the mammogram from Care Core and a determination letter from Hip/Medicaid. This was not an emergency and this was not authorized.
LMAO baboons for sure. My primary physician ordered this routine test through the Medicaid/HIP system and gave me the referral. I made the appointment and the pre-certified the appointment. When I came in they again precertified and I have the printout from such certification. I remember complaining that their digital signature machine did not let me write REFUSE. That is if they did anything fancy with this routine checkup I did not authorize it and I would not pay for it.
They were well everybody has to pay something. I'm saying there is a bonafide reason why I have medicaid. I live in poverty. I don't have to pay a thing. So we better get it straight right now or I'm walking out right now. Then they tried to mollify me.

That I already had lost one toe joint and that toe was arthritic and the bone protuberance is also arthritic. Other than that beautiful feet.
Lol she can't say a thing the foot doctor said its totally covered by my insurer because its quality of life. You can say that again. Feet is totally it for me, its everything.
Yeah and all I can think of is I can't get that dang radiator valve to close and its been well over 87 degree F in my apartment for the last few days.
I'm like is this hell all over again, back to 135th street and MalcolmX, lol below freezing in winter and in the Summer the heat went on we had 130 degrees. I have this rule not to touch the valve if you don't need to. So all this time I haven't; the temperature was alright up until really maybe Friday. I think because the temperatures are milder outside and maybe some of the people are leaving their windows open? Usually warped windows or open windows cause a radiator to go uzi on the tenants.
Ok guess I have to email those bloomin' landlords repeat valve not shutting down too hot, the refrigerator is ruining my food and the toilet takes anywhere from 5-8 flushes per use. Lol and when I take my clean clothes out of my watertight storage box they smell like tobacco and I'm allergic to it. That will be the eighth letter I have written my landlord.

Her statistics are way off. She says 1 in 4 women die of breast cancer. LOL not so. Some fact missing with that, not in any of the races does 1 in 4 women die of breast cancer. Breast cancer is #2 (lung cancer #1) for women though.

That second hand smoke is the #1 cause for breast cancer in women mid-50s and up who are exposed to it. Indeed I was. My overtenant and Landlord would not come and see about the smoke, they refused. They said that smokers have a right to smoke in their apartment. I replied they are smoking in my apartment not theirs. The entire two years I lived in that apartment I was working with the Health Department of New York City, HUD and the civil court. Finally after a year and a half, a bought judge not even reading what was going on with the case said its no sale that the apartment had no value to you. See how they loll about and position it. The case was settled in my favor but that does not mean that there are not other entries there are many significant re-entry points that I became aware of in the last two months. :P losers.
Yep we will be having another round with those defendants but this time they will have a lot of company. So it would behoove me to get this done as we are going to have some real hell going on in civil court for sure over this. I did not need to be spurred on my primary physician. I've been dealing with it, indeed. Struggling with that along with a very long list of things of incredible importance. You know minimum food, a roof over my head.

Imagine a routine mammogram given free to some women. My primary doctor prescribed it. Do get the drift of why women are not getting mammograms besides the very inhumanity of the test and its history. Mammograms killed a group of women because it was misused and now these thugheads are saying the target is now women 40 and over. So women aren't flocking to your death chambers because you are real boobs.
I do not want to give baboons any cancer business. I am practicing smart consumerism and three months is nothing and it wasn't up to me, those baboons did it all by themselves. Oh and you do so have to know that they gave graphs and all sorts of things to my primary physician regarding the state of my mammographies that I did not get. I am going to ask for them. Even the letter that they wrote her was different from the one they wrote me. I can totally understand medicine, its my body and its not yours.
The #1 reason they lost my business: did not give me results within a few hours and xrayed one side twice.

#3 when asked for the report hemmed and hawed
#4 had to be asked to go get the report #5 billed me triple for one prescribed mammography
#6 along with Care Core, Hip and Medicaid they bullied me like a bill collector

My primary physician says so you know you have been living with this breast cancer for three months. Its your fault. I'm like not so. I said if they had acted properly this would have been done with and gone, not an issue. But they have not acted properly, not on any score.
I said I was waiting to get the colonscopy done and then I was changing providers. Now I have an unemployment benefits law case coming up and honestly, I can't do both.
I will try but if I get ocular migraine again I am quitting wherever we are.
Just to get the drift of my physicians focus. She wanted to know if I had the pap smear test. Yes three months ago and its in your files. Its fine. She was disbelieving.
Then she wasn't like congratulations on having a great colon she was like did they do the biopsy on that benign polyp. Totally off the wall. Of course they did and it was minute, infinitestimal. .433 mill. Nothing to write home about. That gastro doctor was like this primary phys also. Oh you should have had that six years ago. You probably have polyps the size of a grapefruit. hahaha And the matter is that I did not. I am perfect.
Look I am most interested in quality of life. I do not have quality of life. I have a life that is hell. I do not wish to add bamboons to create yet another hell of billings to figure out for Medicaid/HIP. I am not their accountant, surprise. They should pay me. Losers! I will not tolerate an imaging center that does not give you your results within an hour while you wait. I will not tolerate an imaging center that really doesn't have a doctor available in the office for this second screening.
My friend told me Eastern is good. They told me I need another provider and I can get that one. I will do that sometime tomorrow while giving the New York State Labor Department due hell and of course signing up for Earned Benefits from lovely Seedco with the lovely pack of lies on the latest Benefits sheet. $66 a week my Ass!
Anyway take it for what its worth. The claim is that black women are more proactive about doing their mammograms. That black women die from breast cancer more than any other race.
The reason why women do not get mammograms is due to inadequate insurance and no insurance provider.

Lol yeah before you turn the volume down on me listen to my why. I did do a mammogram and the imaging center xrayed one side twice. They did not have me wait in the office for the results. They just dumped me back into the same construction worker/disrobed women waiting space for the bone density which totally took 45 minutes. No time frame was given to me. Several weeks later I asked my primary physician so how was the report. They said I had to go get the report. They said that since I had not heard anything everything was fine. I called up the imaging center and I was told the same and they additionally stated that doctor's offices were messed up and they had sent the bone-density test.
I say wait a minute you did not send me the mammography results. Listen here I inadvertently went the same name hospital for the chest xray on a Saturday and they had the results in my doctor's office on the following Monday (all of two days). If they had done the bone density and the mammogram on Saturdays it would be done already. The representative answered that they would send the bone density results again and would speak personally to the radiologist. There were no calls.
One day maybe 7-8 days later I received a letter. We would like you to come in and have additional mammographic views and a sonogram. Even if these results are negative we do not rule out biopsy. When I visited my primary physician she did not have the report in her file. I broke the news to her. She would not take my copy but ask her assistant to get the report.
That's when she gave me the scare routine. I just sat their calmly. LOL I've seen that fat ass routine way too often. I am not a simple person. I know a lot. I particularly know a lot about my body. My body was not going to undergo more radiation under the baboons who last did it. Additionally by this time I had already received a $300 bill for the mammogram from Care Core and a determination letter from Hip/Medicaid. This was not an emergency and this was not authorized.
LMAO baboons for sure. My primary physician ordered this routine test through the Medicaid/HIP system and gave me the referral. I made the appointment and the pre-certified the appointment. When I came in they again precertified and I have the printout from such certification. I remember complaining that their digital signature machine did not let me write REFUSE. That is if they did anything fancy with this routine checkup I did not authorize it and I would not pay for it.
They were well everybody has to pay something. I'm saying there is a bonafide reason why I have medicaid. I live in poverty. I don't have to pay a thing. So we better get it straight right now or I'm walking out right now. Then they tried to mollify me.

LOL and the only thing I know is that my feet hurt and she doesn't care what the foot doctor said. She sneers. He said I have to have both feet operated on and be off of them for eight months. That I already had lost one toe joint and that toe was arthritic and the bone protuberance is also arthritic. Other than that beautiful feet.

Yeah and all I can think of is I can't get that dang radiator valve to close and its been well over 87 degree F in my apartment for the last few days.

Ok so I'm sitting there in this doctor's office thinking about the above while my primary doctor going on about breast cancer and she is totally getting upset with me. I'm like this is a very personal issue with her. Her mother died from breast cancer.
Her statistics are way off. She says 1 in 4 women die of breast cancer. LOL not so. Some fact missing with that, not in any of the races does 1 in 4 women die of breast cancer. Breast cancer is #2 (lung cancer #1) for women though.

That second hand smoke is the #1 cause for breast cancer in women mid-50s and up who are exposed to it. Indeed I was. My overtenant and Landlord would not come and see about the smoke, they refused. They said that smokers have a right to smoke in their apartment. I replied they are smoking in my apartment not theirs. The entire two years I lived in that apartment I was working with the Health Department of New York City, HUD and the civil court. Finally after a year and a half, a bought judge not even reading what was going on with the case said its no sale that the apartment had no value to you. See how they loll about and position it. The case was settled in my favor but that does not mean that there are not other entries there are many significant re-entry points that I became aware of in the last two months. :P losers.
Yep we will be having another round with those defendants but this time they will have a lot of company. The problem is there are no more $850 or $650 apartments on the market. Manhattan is where you will find the best deals. I've looked everywhere. If you don't have a job you will not get an apartment. That is why these landlords abuse me because they think they have the upper hand. I've contacted HPD and they never show up. Upon followup they say they came and noone was home. There was no note left and I was home. Experience proves they are incredible liars.
So we shall see what happens.

$850/month (harlem 135th street, break-ins and police raids every night, no heat, no hot water, racial hate and harassment, repeatedly told they were going to rape me, over 8 roommates, always changing, landlord would keep our mail for days and sometimes not give it us and then it was opened, and of course there is open gun fire quite frequently on the streets);
$650/month (manhattanville, oppressive cigarette smoke, never the same roommates in a 3-month period, overcharged $200/month);
$1200/month Fort George (rats, roaches, oppressive cigarette smoke, warped windows so no heat, breakins nightly, poor subway service)
and
currently $1100/month toilet has never worked (has to be flushed 5 times), refrigerator freezes food and ruins it and makes noises, oppressive cigarette smoke, band rehearsals, barking dog, bed bugs, unpredictable insecticide fumigations, insects.
Lol the beginning of my poverty, Williamsburg $350 you wake up with mice and rats on you and your roommates and landlord are totally off the wall.
The above listed are apartments I rented strictly in the Bloomberg years. Two years in the $650 Manhattanville, 8 months in Central Harlem for $850, Two years in Ft. George and now 8 months in the posh Upper East Side dump.
Where is the City administration in this? Why they are writing the letters to cover their no shows. They spend all day just doing that.
