Oh but the pictures I have in my phone right now

as this landlord's muck continues.

Yesterday I heard this beating near my door. I thought it was in the closet and then a big blob came out of the light fixture in the tiny entry way to my tiny $1100 a month apartment.

Oh my gosh it was undiluted urine. I thought at the time did some dog just empty their bowels.
I called my super. They said they would be right over. Yep they came 35 minutes later. They said they had fixed a leak in the toilet above me. Hmm I thought usually that would be right over my toilet. They had disgusted looks on their face and I knew it wasn't me because everyone who is given a presence with me is a lucky bloke indeed.
.
I asked are you going to do something? They said no. They said it had to dry. I was incredulous. There was a grocery bag full of stinking urine and it was falling down from the light fixture and splashing all my things. No they said and walked away.

I called them on their cell phone after I came out of shock a minute later and said you better come over here and take the cover off the ceiling light. It will never dry. They did not answer

I wrote the property manager an email stating if they did not do that by 5:00 pm I was calling 311. A few minutes later I decided to call 311. They were saying a complaint to HPD, buildings department. I finally said I can't believe that liquid is allowed to trickle from the light fixture. Finally light fixture hold on I'm connecting you with 911. A panicky 911 op answered I said could we have some clarity here. There is urine dripping down from the ceiling light fixture of my entry way. The 911 person said that would be the fire department. They came within a minute 5 firemen. I'm like wow. They turned off the breakers to my bathroom, entry way, and kitchenette light. They brought a ladder and did what the super was mean't to do take the cover off the light. Another fireman went upstairs to ask of the apartment with the leak. He came back disgusted saying that they had called the super in the morning about a leak and he came to fix it. hmmm I called him at 11:28 and he came at 12:35pm, isn't that noon. Doesn't time make a difference here? He said that stuff is all residual, let's go.

I'm like what's going on upstairs. That's sort of like the super. What the F? Am I being lied to. Already we have had hospital emergency going up there and now this. My guess is that it was what I experienced. Someone took a pee and it leaked right through. My guesstimate was about 4-8oz glasses at the least.

Need I say that there has been no further response from the super or the property manager?

The person above me makes a ton of noise. Scraping the floor, moving furniture around, walking in heavy shoes, smoking and now, apparently peeing. Great!

Its loathsome to live here but when you are out of work or a temporary count on being truly exploited by New York City landlords and civil court. :P buckos
