The Early Bird caught the worm, I'm now studying

I left my upper east side townhouse (I rent, its not mine) at 7am and arrived at the Staten Island Ferry 7:58pm.

Stepping off the ferry and going out to where the buses were I saw that I had just missed the Wagner shuttle, it passed me by. I had to find out where to get it. Lol I asked the police.

Anyway five hours later I was "been there done that." The shuttle I took in was the last shuttle out. I made the perfect time.

Interesting to note all the students in the return shuttle were on internships. All were paying for their internship except one. He had a paying job, not an internship. Yep that's why I chose this program and not the competitor. They were saying if you pay us $125 extra a month you can work in a lawfirm as an intern without pay. Funny I thought. Let's see in 1974 I was the administrator of a law firm at a very young age making more money than they'll ever see. You know just talent, the 4 squares, Knowledge, Skill, Attitude and Habits. Yep I had them down since I was five years old making my first dollar on a beautiful flower I created. :P

So yeah I am five hours behind on everything. Still I can start my studies right away and finish the certificate pronto. Hours is all you put in, hours I piss those away everyday on governmental junk. This is easy.

I have on active file this new law giving employers even more money if they employ someone who has been unemployed 60 days or more for at least year. The employer does not have to pay taxes on that employee. Yep I've got a google alert on that one. Tracking it down. Want to know about all the people who get hired on it and what happened to them during that year and after that year. Why I think I've got my investigative journalism project Woot! Bingo!

Staten Island is amazing in the snow. I took some pictures. Later I'll enhance this post.

The shuttle van did not have 4 wheel drive so we were swerving and lost momentum when we picked up a second group of St. John's students half way up the hill. LOL I said you know I was a ski instructor in a couple of ski towns a while back. Yep all that's missing here is 4-wheel drive. Honestly Telluride and Killington images were floating as I realized the ski bank that I might end on was up the Wagner Hill among snow flakes the size of my the jumbo clip in my hair.
