Constantly amazed at the City's allowance of Unhygienic conditions at Laundromats

I tried a new laundromat because the one I use gets disgusting sometimes when you see that the customer's are sorting their dirty clothes before they put in them in the washer. LOL you don't do that at home?

The washers and dryers have been noticeably unclean lately.

Their water temperatures are not high enough to kill bed bugs.

So I thought this was bad.

There is this Wash84 where they have wash for about $.50 less on Wednesday.
Quelle? They have the same knock out drag out washers that my last apartment complex has. Always a problem with the water or electronics, or these washers just skip the final rinse or all rinses and leave the clothes sopping wet.

I wound up spending $1.00 more for alot less. In actuality I lost $6.00 and 3 hours time. I will have to rewash those clothes. They totally sucked. The clothes took forever to dry because they were sopping wet and detergent was left in the clothes because the rinse cycles were skipped.

A woman told me that later that it was all cold water, the water wasn't working.

Oh come on, New York City start inspecting and fining these places.

Isn't it really cool how the city allows smokers to stand in the door of laundromats, bars, restaurants smoking? What's the point?

pfft!
