LOL which stack does this go in. Yeah, I actually love to live my life and do things for myself and others in it. hmmm and apparently I'm just a clog in some bureaucrats workflow.
Its a form letter and it bears the fault that all form letters do it does not apply to the receiver and finds fault with the receiver and something is or isn't going to happen to the receiver.
The letter bears the typical stamp of NYC professional liar it claims that an HPD person came by and I was not home for the appointment. That the person left a note and I did not answer and here you go, therefore since you did not ....
The HPD person was suppose to be at my place a month ago at 10pm - 8am lol you can bet I was home. The next day I was home and the next and the next. Noone rang my door, called me up, wrote me a note or anything. There was one angry man the first of last week who rang my door. I did not know him and he just left in a huff and puff. He did not leave a note and if that was him then the part of the letter that says he arrived at his appointment is a lie.
Oh joy if they do not hear from me within 10 days of the date of the letter, which is just short of 4 days from now the complaint will be cancelled. Notice how they don't manage to mail it out on time.
Normally I would just be patient and lolidada but I really am getting sick of all this. If you ever read my posts from two, three years ago you would understand. The City never comes out, they hire lazy ass contractors who don't come out they just write the condition did not exist when they arrived and/or they weren't home.
I was looking up a building I was considering moving to and it has a whole bunch of those kind of complaints and answers for it. First if a tenant had to call the building department I'm not interested in you as a landlord or really, to be honest, anything else. Your a goner. Furthermore a tenant complained that the front door was not secure enough, yep, its not. I've had too many years of that bs... pass!

For months now my next door neighbor has been playing his band's music
All hours and as loud as they want to.
Several weeks ago I wrote this neighbor a letter asking if they were experiencing the following and I listed the pounding of drums, vibrato of guitars and voices bouncing off the walls and shaking the floors and the fact that I actually sleep from 1AM - 5AM and I can't hear my own headphone music and coursework. That they leave me not one ounce of private weekend or week day and evening space. That I am being force fed someone else's music. LOL these guys moved in months after I did.
I had first told my landlord about the situation in person and he just nodded. In our lease the landlord explains to each tenant that they are to keep quiet after 10pm and that this building is a quiet building, please be considerate of your neighbors.
When the above two attempts failed I called 311 and of course they just read stuff that is not true and like, I don't need to know that. They called 911 and asked the police to come to my apartment on a non-emergency basis. The police never came.
The next day I called and checked on the req and the req stated that the police came at 7:00am and no one was home and they could not hear any noise, duh! LOL such a lie. We have a video intercom and that thing definitely wakes you up and makes you aware. Point blank they did not come.
That 311 person disagreed with the prior 311 person who claimed that people can make noise whenever they want. This 311 said that the police would come and decide whether it was too loud. Do you get the flavor here, we do not have democracy in this country, not in New York City.
I wasn't worried at all. My walls and floors are vibrating, meaning too loud in anyone's bent up mind.
To date noone has come. I am told that I have to call every single time. The guy downstairs said don't you think that's carrying it a little too far calling the police. LOL that guy is being sued by all his neighbors because of his barking dog. Like I'll listen to him. He said why don't you just knock on his door. He's probably just high on something when he is doing and doesn't know. I say that is exactly why I do not want to deal with this person on that level. Its not just that he opens and slams his door about 10 times in 3 minutes, the dude isn't there. Once I had gone into the building quickly and this guy had come up within a minute later of me, he was p'o'd because I hadn't waited and opened the door from him. Nope don't want to make it personal, want my privacy and am not looking to social network that way. Duh I already have linkedin. My neighbor below looks at me funny. I'm laughing. Then he smiles.
One of these days the police are going to do their job and they'll see what's going on and this guy just might get the message.

I decided I am going to write him a letter by certificate of mailing. Another way around this is to bring in a sound specialist and I think, yes, that is what I am going to do. I'll copy a request to the landlord and the tenant with the report and state if you continue to violate my warrant of habitability then this goes to small claims court each and every time there is a violation. I think in the end it will be cheaper for them to get a studio or just, like move out. LOL my landlord would like me to move out, because I am witness to his other violations. That's how they cure violations here, they ask you to move out. Yep, forced eviction an international law violation.

I made a personal visit to this rinky dink real estate place for the approved WorkForce1 course
After calling three times and basically being put off and receiving no return call I decided to go in person and see what the real deal was.
The administrator/owner said that WorkForce1 had their course offering on the New York State Labor Department site as approved but in reality the real estate school's course had not been approved and would not be for months. New York State Department of Labor has been approving and disapproving quite regularly. I said don't worry that is the story I am getting everywhere and a "reasonable" person could see they've got quite a scam going on at that site.
Lol so the appraisal course is down the toilet.
I walked on uptown and stopped in at the CUNY info center to ask about Pell Grant, NYS Labor Department offering within their system. Duh they didn't know, you have to go to a trade school they said.
Hmm I walked over and read their brochure and newsletter. The newsletter sported a two page spread on the wonders of the NEG and I must quote to show you the biggest swindle of all time:
"Jumpstarting an Upgraded Workforce" -- lol they don't tell you the very workforce that started this financial disaster and put many more than themselves out of work.
"At press time (apparently late October 2009) Baruch alone had more than 20 students who were laid off after May 31, 2008 and who were receiving almost $80,000 in grant money. ...The grants range from $420 to $10,145 for courses in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, project management, human resources/Society for Human Resource Management, IT skills training and realestate..."
Here is the preferential and prejudicial punchline:
"Its not a performance-based program, and its not vocational training. LMAO (because these folks were making a might fine salary, received severance and receive full unemployment... "It targets a population sorely in need. They don't necessarily want a degree, they want to refine their skills and go back into the market. It also allows them to network."
Well I am in touch with the NEG as I do think I qualify. I'll be going back to this college and getting a new letter for the only certificate on the plate right now - construction management. I have applied now to City College and its a matter of days that I will know whether I will get a Pell Grant for the spring semester according to the school. Humma I did the FFA app months ago and they said I indeed do qualify for a grant. Something tells my Monday work will yield some fruit.
Good lord, how long does it take to get training due to you in this City and State. Apparently since we have voted in neither the Mayor or the Governor we will be lucky to get anything until their terms are over. I don't know one single person that voted for the Mayor, do you?

hehehe the place I was reluctant to sign up with lol you can't even sign up with
because they are never in, they don't know when they'll be in.
lol I asked the lady about this required remedial course for real estate. She should have kept her mouth shut as she doesn't even know what the words she is saying are.
She was telling me I had to take the whole course over again. I told her I had been fleeced like that before. So sorry but I have read the state site and I'm not asking whether I should or should not take it. I am asking you about your course.
Yep, that's the way it was when I took that first appraisal class. They were never on time, didn't show up or wanted to give us some breaks. I don't need any breaks hon I just need to put in the hours the state asked me to.
All of these state required classes are a laugh. They just want you to sit in a chair for a number of hours. So they find these dohs to sit there and read the junk to you. But the dohs can't do it so they sneak out and give time off and lol the same stuff as the bartending class.
100% junk.

the ladidada of getting just a wee bit of substandard training
Originally I had approached this city college about their real estate program because I thought they would look better on paper. Also I had already taken Appraisal I from the other provider and ugh it was pretty tedious training.
Still it is training that goes toward the Appraisal Certification, I'll take it. LOL it is a 1/5 of the cost of the city college and its completion achieves the right to take the assistant appraiser license. That's all I wanted. I already have my New York Salesperson and real estate finance training from the 70s and the 90s, just need the required update. I was offered a job as a commercial real estate agent five years back but I had no money by then so I did not take it. I already know the now considered training provider will let one work out the update in lieu of the training already taken. How did I get that training? I worked for the Trump Real Estate conference run by Learning Annex some years ago and took credits instead of pay so I could take the course.
This way I salvage some of the lost time riding the schizophrenia of the WorkForce1 center. They cancelled the very course I spent so much time on. I've had one IT Grant Review already and they said no to the computer database training that I am considered a master of. That training would have put me in the running for some great jobs. I don't know but for 15 years I got master jobs in IT with the resume I had and here are these people who know nothing about that market telling me I have to do it from scratch. Get me away from these people as soon as possible please.
Yep I am not getting the Pell Grant and I'm sure I'll not get the NEG and isn't it a shame we face this preferential and discriminating injustice in this country. Sadly Obama you haven't changed anything, actually you have made things worse.
As usual I'll get around all this nonsense and make quick work of it. I'll earn what I know will get me a job with my former prestigious university where I was an officer for the provost. I moved on after a year because technology was calling and it continued to call until Bill Clinton was elected into office. What he did to the talented IT workers in this country should never be forgotten, he lied and he did his best to purge us. Look around you do you see one single white American as an IT programmer? LOL of course you don't.
The great thing about an appraisal certificate is the diverse fields that accept it. Its really good training for a multitude of opportunities. That was my first step and these WorkForce1 and that city college talked me down, down, down and then slammed the door on me.
So Monday its just two stops, to the school real quick for the letter and then on to WorkForce1. I shall ask them for the 7 day turnaround in light of the fact that they have been deleting courses in three fields left and right on me. I do not want them to once again be given the opportunity of cancelling this training. After all its half of the amount the grant offers for such training.
So that's that now on to the next bag of bones to straighten out. LOL its not about this wee bit of money, its about the right to stay in the unemployment minimal pay. Its not about that pay either, as of late I started to use that unemployment right (not privilege) as a way to make these employers give me a job. That is what this is all about, its about battling stupid discrimination that is only based on the federal requirement to show your id that has your birth year spelled out. :P to you!

Could ever a little townhouse on the Upper Eastside have so many problems?
Dogs might be the core of its problem. There are dogs and dog hair and dogs running all the time up and down the floors in this building. Of course the allergist found one of my most severe allergies was dog dander, who'd a thunk?
If the real estate management companies' statement that the entire block has bed bug infestations is true then look no further than the middle of the sidewalks and walk around all the dog poo? Lol start there then try the laundromats, a heap of unsanitary conditions there.
In the past few weeks strangers have been scrutinizing our video camera box on the outside of the building. Then spotting me entering the building they have asked me do you know who has the dog? They want to know everything, they are out for blood.
I tell them who manages the building and that is the person to contact.
They tell me their side of the story that the dog keeps them awake and is unnervingly barking all day and night long.
Yep, I know but I don't want to get involved in yet another pile of legal papers to do. For this building I have three already. The dog barking is unnerving but its the minimum of the problems here.
One woman said they are going to have that dog taken away. The man said its driving him nuts.
Hmm when I was talking to the dog owner about the band guy who moved in next door and plays at 2am to 6am in the morning, leaves his monitors on the floor, keeps ramping up the drum machine, even sings... someone who lives a couple of floors above me interrupts and says yes I hear it. The owner of the dog and I look at this interjector as he states that dog drive me nuts all day. The owner turns red in the face and as soon as the guy goes away he says he can just give that to the board.
Tonight I let the dog owner know about these strangers' inquiry. He said oh yes one woman called up and B**** his wife out. He says he can just remove the pipe coming out of their building into his yard and that should take care of things. He claims that the dog next door starts his dog up.
I asked about the dog daycare down the road. He said they got the dog from the pound and sent it to day care and a load of training. The dog looked very well behaved with him. hmmm It is true dogs do teach each other rather bad habits like digging holes under fence posts.
I never was certain where the dog barking came from, it seemed to alternate between the buildings. The guy upstairs certifies that its this dog.
The legalese is that you can get an injunction for one day at a time. Ha but the enforcement of it, well the police will determine if the sound is loud enough. But whereforth art their expertise. ROFL
Yep you would have to drag the party into small claims court everytime the dog barked with documentation and expert witnesses. The judgement then doesn't have to be paid, the judgment just goes on and on and on... until a loan is needed... probably never, since the dog owner owns the largest share of the townhouse.
What does the management company say... rest assured they don't try to forcefully evict anyone over it, no threats about drilling holes in the door or that you are in breach of the lease because they can't figure out how to open their lock on their door. I am quite sure they gave any inquirer the dog owner's phone number. ROFL only in New York City.

Its laughable. If you don't have more than $1100 a month to spend on a place to live (and by the way I have lived in NYC the greater part of my life) you might as well be prepared for large electricity bills wherein you drown out a band playing next door (in an upper East side townhouse) and their cigarette smoke will require several air cleaners and your health is going to be impaired. The city and the landlord's attitude is have a problem then stuff your ears and clean the air in your apartment for god's sake. But wow! what will I do about the vibrating floor, most likely they'll ask that I be lobotomized. I must accomodate the deficiencies of my neighbors.
The 311 line will tell you that the Housing Preservation Department will come out and visit you and they never do, no call, no followup, no show. They'll tell you when you followup that the police came four hours later and found nothing. LOL they did not even ring the bell. They tell you well ma'am you have to keep doing it.
What I must do is hire a sound expert who will come right when I call him/her, an air expert and a pest specialist (bed bugs etc). That will cost me at minimum $900 and the $350 will be for the lawyer to sign his name to my research and letter. A pesticide company and a renown etymologist have volunteered to identify the specimens of insects that I have.
What all that effort will get me is not change but a certified way out of yet another F**** disaster.
I have 17 plastic air tight boxes with all my belongings stacked up on one side of the small room with one window. An infested leather sofa bed weeps on the other side. Everyday I clean the floor and the sofa bed twice to try to rid them of the insects that bite me and get in my hair.
A malfunctioning dermatologist said that I had nothing growing in my skin, he failed to look at my scalp and he did not use any magnifying glass on my skin. He did what I already had done, a once over behind the ears and back of neck. For I was so alarmed by these nymphs after reading up on them, was this lice and how in the world could that be?
He seemed more interested in me as a nude object. It took me five weeks to find and get an appointment with this "expert" and then four weeks to actually have the appointment. He was paid $150 for that perv moment. I checked my experience with the "expert" out with subsequent physicians in other specialties and of course friends who have been to a dermatologist before. They say this one was off his rocker. However, among the Medicaid selection quite a few are. They are no more than technicians with no intellectual follow up.
The mammogram that became the Spammogram. These technicians were given vital info about me that I had had a severe case of chicken pox and it had left scar tissue on the specimen (thank the City hospital for that maiming). Health countdown for nonsense, 3%, 4%, 5%, 6%....... is it any wonder that my primary physician states: 1 out of 3 women have breast cancer. She didn't say where, supposedly the moon. Duh, yeah, mammogram them twice a year consecutively within a couple of weeks, why don't you?
I try to transfer all this garbage to another center that might be more reliable and in the process open the sealed envelope and read the doctor-to-doctor correspondence. Doh most of what they are describing is the nature of my scoliosis and the scarring that took place from the City hospital malpractice or negligence, whatever. (They denied me the steroids that the private hospital prescribed. I suffered six months with something that was to take six weeks for recovery due to the F****** A******* City hospital.) At any rate the bottom line is that this other center is governed by the same 'no mammograms here ma'am' insurance company. They accepted me also, lol. This is a scam for sure. I am not the only one I found in further investigations.
The point is that Medicaid wrote me a letter stating they would not pay for the first mammogram because it was not an emergency. I got bill collectors and notes of determination and I'm just an innocent bystander except for constant ROFL. Finally I call them and they are goofing off at the management center for medicaid. I call again and I get someone who gives me req numbers for the xrays in question. They tell me to call the governing insurance company for the imaging center. I go huh? Isn't that what you are suppose to do? It is quite instructive as I am passed along to five different representatives of that company. They say we do not cover mammograms to my question 'three times, three different people got an ok from your system for this (that is my primary physician, and twice the imaging center)' ???
The next day I get a bill collector's letter. Ok now is the time to really let them have it, shockingly let them have it, wake them up let them have it, nothing held back. I let them know how duh they are and explain their job to them. I explain without a doubt I will not be paying one red cent and by the way you are quacks. I described what went on in the mammogram room. Exactly three days later I receive the billing statement and yes they paid the bill.

He didn't get that such stunning athletism was before all this crummy environmental stress started happening. I have been unable to perform stunning feats in the snow since. Science is often colored by our personal perceptions, as witnessed by the dermatologist who gave me rather long lecture on people who have insect phobia. Yeah, I with my note from my landlord about the bed bug beagle finding bedbugs on my sofabed in my bag.

They account for the damage that went on in the last apartment and apparently continues in this one. This apartment is a great control test because the culprits are gone for about 4 days and then stay 8. For four days I start to get better, optimistic and then crash.
I've been tested by a private allergist before and they did blood tests. They said that the prick stuff is unreliable, its the cheapest method there is. None of the allergies that I had in the past were present in the testing. One thing for sure the needles test left allergic reactions in my arm well over a week past the test. The same was true of the opthamologist. Does a doctor tell the patient to tell the other doctor something? They don't write up anything? Odd they found ocular migraine and floaters no small thing. They lied to me about the bed bugs and they lied to me about the cigarette smoke. Nobody is going to hold them accountable.
The name of the game is forced eviction. LOL yes, indeed, soon, very soon and it will be in a court that the city has no jurisdiction over. LOL forced eviction, an international crime.
There will be no law changed and the sad sack state of affairs of New York City will continue.
Its laughable. If you don't have more than $1100 a month to spend on a place to live (and by the way I have lived in NYC the greater part of my life) you might as well be prepared for large electricity bills wherein you drown out a band playing next door (in an upper East side townhouse) and their cigarette smoke will require several air cleaners and your health is going to be impaired. The city and the landlord's attitude is have a problem then stuff your ears and clean the air in your apartment for god's sake. But wow! what will I do about the vibrating floor, most likely they'll ask that I be lobotomized. I must accomodate the deficiencies of my neighbors.
The 311 line will tell you that the Housing Preservation Department will come out and visit you and they never do, no call, no followup, no show. They'll tell you when you followup that the police came four hours later and found nothing. LOL they did not even ring the bell. They tell you well ma'am you have to keep doing it.
What I must do is hire a sound expert who will come right when I call him/her, an air expert and a pest specialist (bed bugs etc). That will cost me at minimum $900 and the $350 will be for the lawyer to sign his name to my research and letter. A pesticide company and a renown etymologist have volunteered to identify the specimens of insects that I have.
What all that effort will get me is not change but a certified way out of yet another F**** disaster.
I have 17 plastic air tight boxes with all my belongings stacked up on one side of the small room with one window. An infested leather sofa bed weeps on the other side. Everyday I clean the floor and the sofa bed twice to try to rid them of the insects that bite me and get in my hair.
A malfunctioning dermatologist said that I had nothing growing in my skin, he failed to look at my scalp and he did not use any magnifying glass on my skin. He did what I already had done, a once over behind the ears and back of neck. For I was so alarmed by these nymphs after reading up on them, was this lice and how in the world could that be?
He seemed more interested in me as a nude object. It took me five weeks to find and get an appointment with this "expert" and then four weeks to actually have the appointment. He was paid $150 for that perv moment. I checked my experience with the "expert" out with subsequent physicians in other specialties and of course friends who have been to a dermatologist before. They say this one was off his rocker. However, among the Medicaid selection quite a few are. They are no more than technicians with no intellectual follow up.

Highly illustrative of the opportunities that NEG qualifiers have, real universities and real education. I am accepted to that College as long as I pay the remaining $2,000 isn't that a blast, that is what they mean by the if of the WorkForce1 IT grant dollars. The WorkForce1 isn't going to give up those dollars by the way. Each counselor is marked down each time an applicant does not get a job from the training. Therefore they go slomo hoping each applicant will move on in opposite direction. I looked at the report cards, most of the providers have never even had applicant and there is not a high rate of finish or getting a job. 100% means 1 person got a job.
LOL that's because the counselors don't know what a real world resume is nor do they have real world experience. Pity! honestly discrimination is such a bummer. I am not discriminated until they see my federally required ID and then they hold their heart for I look 30 years younger than my age. Ah but I am of a rich experience and intellectual base and I have never had an employer disappointed in my work.
Yeah this country and this state has high unemployment and if you read this then well DUH! What makes financial companies better than the rest of us? I had a counselor at an agency that I have worked with for six years offer to send my resume to a temp to perm job. She said a stable person would never go for that job. So they understand my resume. LMAO that agent and many of them like her sabotaged my career by giving me temp jobs all those years. I worked right next to permanent people working every holiday, all the last minute OT that they would not take. I worked more hours and more days than they did and I did not receive one benefit. I was superior to them in every way. Such is the abuse of discrimination in this state and this country. And as if this was the only problem that I have to deal with.

Yep, I did my research and made a mini brief and emailed it to all three decision makers in my quest to get a WorkForce1 IT grant -- the fed at Pell Grant, the director of pell grant at the city college and the director of the school that phoned me up with the "bad" news.
LOL anyway looking over the http://nyc.gov/trainingguide per usual they made a change; the certificate program I was applying for grant has been removed, only construction management program (don't recommend as the allergist says that I am highly allergic to mugwort (so close to tobacco that there are industrial worker studies on it).
The school I interviewed stated that WorkForce1 makes changes back and forth everyday in leadership and in offerings. LOL I knew that. They don't know how to work, think, innovate, create, its just a game to them. They are just playing games with each other and the people they are there to serve. Its how New York City has become in every service industry. The public face of a company ruled by prejudice of a kind that serves no one.
In the WorkForce1 orientation rooms they let people come in very late and go in and out of the room. The speaker (or whatever that is) is distracted, they have no flow.

Who would I turn to for help? I've been to the director of the school and they shook their head. I had emailed them the text of the letter wherein it states that preference will be given to the unemployed by Pell Grant and any other source of federal aid. I received a call last night, assumedly they wanted to make sure I understood and would not be upset about their ruling. Of course I've been to the WorkForce1. Lol writing a federal representative of any kind is pointless, they don't answer. My representative ROFL they say we can't do anything, wish we could. No, no, better they want me to talk about the water and air. LOL whats the point if you aren't going to be here.
Yeah so just keep on sending that worthless paper to me with false hope and false pledges. What federal grant is available for me to get training in the jobs that this State wants me to do? The school claims that the Pell Grant will reject non-academic courses (meaning continuing education). Continuing Education is WorkForce1's choice certainly not mine. You see the link above how only a favored portion of our citizenry is so entitled to special federal aid.
When I asked for appraisal courses I was told those are reserved for the financial industry because they are already expert in that job. LOL so expert to have created this mess. Upon what basis could they speak about my lack of such expertise, I was a financial analyst for a major corporation's Treasury department. Ah they answer, that was a long time ago. LOL I say back that was when the first PC came out and guess who figured out the software and taught and applied it for everyone else in the corporation? That was me. I know more about computers than people who grew up with them do and I always have. So please don't mind if I think you are a huge discriminator basing your ill founded logic on nothing but your superficial perceptions.
Get a grip on reality all of you because I think you are a bunch of liars and crooks and I am not alone in that thinking.

alas hope dashed - the school will not accept pell grant
That is the dubious nature of any help the federal government tries to give its citizens.
The citizens State tries to supercede and cancel out the federal care.
New York State along with the New York City government went in and cancelled alot of the program offerings at WorkForce1. All of the offerings are at trade schools and with a few exceptions City college. The City college will not accept the Pell Grant for the WorkForce1 training it provides because it is not a degree program. They say that Pell Grants can only be issued for degree programs. Right from the program director's mouth this evening.

Well let me look into that. Yep I would have to pay thousands out of pocket to supplement WorkForce1's grant.
That's great if you are under $56,000 and employed but what if you are unemployed at $9,000 a year. Yep $3,500 out of $9,000 and you do not receive any government help and your rent is $1,100. That equals debt. That is why we will continue to have unemployment and as the business papers shout out unemployment is ruining the recovery. LOL get a grip.

Yep this one is to congratulate Obama for finally being able to penetrate the hard skull of New York State Department of Labor. In their brag letter they write oh so many months much later that Obama would like people to apply the Pell Grant on the Labor Departments training so that their potential is maximized. LOL do you think they would have even dreamed of writing it that way. I paraphrase for them.
Then they spend the next two paragraphs on bragging about how they already did that. LOL liars move over, I asked and they said no. I watched them turn young minority men away. Dashing hopes is their business.
Anyway because of all the delays I might be able to get a job at one of my former employers, a large university, where in 1980 I was an officer basically doing the same thing, except instead of intellectual property I would be dealing with real estate. LMAO.
I thank Obama because he invested in me and others like me; he not discriminate against us. Had he not done so I would not be able to get this training. If the WorkForce1 denies me the training I will be able to apply to the Pell Grant directly. So tomorrow is their last chance to save face. If I get any feeling that they are not going to do the right thing I have the Pell grant ready to pop into the mail or internet. LOL

Here is a person who taught the underpriviledge SATS, how to design their life with their own two hands (dump the computer) etc. Yeah Rise Up!!!! because if you continue to dash out the lives of New York City Citizens (i.e. Mayor Bloomberg and his buddies) how in the world are they going to pay it forward.

Not Painful! Watching my State shoot itself in the foot daily
New York State has one of the largest states of unemployment. Why? With such wealth of human resources and bountiful ideas and creativity. You have to be a major dunce cap to pull something like this off.
I've been going to WorkForce1 frequently to try to get extra training. Of course I am a principal software developer and administrator, certified in Microsoft Office applications and have assisted the top bankruptcies that this world has had to offer. Decades of experience. So why on earth would I need training and why would I be out of job. I don't need training in those things I need to be a decade younger. New York State is one of the largest distributors of age discrimination.
Ok so they told me I could not add the Pell Grant to the training I chose and that the training was also on their hit list. That was around about July 2009. Then just a week ago when I finally settled on their inadequate training offering I received a letter. It was the day before I was to turn the grant offering in. The letter was a brag letter about how Obama had put into action that Pell Grant may be used for the unemployed to support WorkForce1 training and such action was effective in May 2009.
At any rate I will turn in my grant utilizing the Pell Grant. Now lets see what those lamos are going to do. They don't want me to be in the fields I have expertise in. Real estate management is what they want and that I will be in low income real estate management. LOL Let me have em I'll set them straight!!!!!
And let's see I also won marketing awards and have put up my own websites for decades. Well the reason why I can't make any money is because the Governor put into effect a couple of years ago, the Amazon law, whereby all my affiliate relationships severed such affiliate relationships in my state. Ah but no, not good enough for them, they open the wound today in a letter see below:
Ah well effective December 1, 2009 yet another governmental agency will clamp down on all marketing hints in all websites. Lol and you know they'll go after the small fry who don't have lawyers. Let me have 'em I was in civil court for 1.5 years tons of experience.
I was signing up for the Kaplan 2 day bootcamp in entrepreneurialship and then yet again another governmental interference. New York State wants all of its small fry to pay unknown people's public transportation. Lol I'll go back to it but I need to get more info. Am I just going to be filling out paperwork and giving them money or am I going to be running a business?
LOL currently the state afforded me minimal unemployment by a devise called "well you have just enough quarter to get unemployment." Emergency and extensions? No you have to use up every ounce that you have. I am trying to get the WF1 training instead of just getting a federal grant because of the unemployment. Its way substandard training. I'd rather spend my time getting a real education that means something on the job market. Not just a lead in to a job that is ripping you off. The paralegal internships would pay me nothing, imagine, me who was paid over $80K in the legal field in 1972. That was when they paid you for what you were worth not by your age or the color of your skin. We've come along way in human rights ;)

Boycotting Zynga and Facebook due to their lack of integrity
I just heard about it a couple of days ago that Facebook is deleting accounts of Mafia Wars players without notice or cause. They do not warn the person they just delete them.
There is no reason behind their actions; these players have impeccable integrity. Some of them have even fought for their country.
I wasted some time on that game however it was in my interest to do so. I am developing my own game company and honestly I learned everything you don't do and how one can make a very tedious and boring game.
Its true your people are the main element and that is the most rewarding part of the game.
That is my point exactly, why is Facebook and Zynga, taking down their most important element.
Sounds like a big shot in the foot.
Well I boycott and will have fun writing about the fraud in the game. (Well to be fair in relative terms as the game is called Mafia Wars. To be sympatico to the game company they are a bit overwhelmed in their idea department which has gotten them into this bit of a fix LOL).

Unofficially Bloomberg won, hmm wonder if they are counting Harlem
We so struggled to get this cancerous mass out of our city... will we prevail?
Look to the precincts and see where once again the votes were not counted; where they have punch machines and those counts are sent away somewhere never to be seen. This happens throughout the lower class neighborhoods in all of the boroughs. You can bet Mr. Bloomberg will not speak up this time ...lol don't worry this time, I have plenty of time to keep a diary about what goes on in this city.
I have amassed a population of readers 1,000,000 on twitter, 5,000 on facebook and over 12 mil on blog.spot.
I've been held back due to a civil court case, a hud case and a potential supreme court case and still continuing medical exams (which I have to manage duh). I will prevail...I'm almost back and when I'm back watch out, its freakin amazing what I can do.

Our current mayor has his own ideas about how New York City should work, but it has become increasingly clear that many New Yorkers are left out of his vision.
After eight years under Mayor Bloomberg, we are concerned that homelessness in the City is actually on the rise, the achievement gap for black and Latino kids hasn't closed, and many development projects have become boondoggles that drain tax dollars and divide communities instead of creating new jobs and affordable homes.
The Mayor says he just needs more time to deliver -- but the way he has tried to get that time offends our basic democratic values.
First the Mayor ignored New York City voters and extended his own term limits. Then, when he realized the backlash from that move might still cost him the election, he began burning through unheard-of amounts of campaign cash -- spending in just three hours what the average New Yorker makes in a year.
As a great political leader once said, we need a change -- and Bill Thompson has what it takes."

After little thought and years of experience with this mayor, the truth is, anyone would be better for Mayor. We need a change and I do believe Bill Thompson will be that change.
When freelancers needed a re-look at their corporate taxes, it was Bill Thompson at the lead.
When we needed the real picture about the education in New York City, Bill Thompson verified what the media did not know; what we knew that more money and less thought was going into our educational system. We see the product of Mr. Bloomberg's education on our streets and subways and its not very pretty.

I most disliked Mayor Bloomberg's advertising on facebook, in my mail box (paper wasted) and what these ads shouted "Bloomberg for Greeks" "Bloomberg for African Americans" & lol "Bloomberg for Queens". Why not just "Bloomberg for all New Yorkers". Not once did I see that ad in any media form. Rings true that perhaps he is not.
I know that the good deeds of Mr. Bloomberg will go down in history. We have a chance to move on and make amends for many, many wrongs under his administration (oh come on, look at all the construction around us, its been there for years and keeps getting more invasive and evictive, housing with no code enforcement, smoking everywhere but in Mr. Bloomberg's bars and townhouse, city hospitals in the toilet, police shooting down for race, ticketing done by race, a last ditch attempt to appease riders and pedestrians when that should have been his very first effort; a real lack of introspection on our mayor's part as to what is humanity and what is the dignity standard for the average New York City citizen and finally, Mr. Bloomberg's prolonged bid for president when he was so needed here in New York. Mr. Bloomberg has had his chance and now its our chance to make a change, Let's take it!
