Interesting how New York Civil Court Pro Se term serves lawyers and Banks

They have bought the Civil court - you can tell because they do whatever they want in there. This is a business that is paid for by law firms and banks so I urge you to take your disputes to at least Supreme Court. It can be done, I have done it once and will do it again. I am turning over what happened in the Civil court to an international tribune and let's see what they can do.

Last court date one of the law firm attorneys did not feel compelled to stay in the court room. He went to See Judge Schulman (the undertaker of the court since the Administrator Judge doesn't have time). When we were called to the stand the other law firm announced this fact. Lol where is the bailiff (they are always talking to someone within the court and it ain't business). As a result we had to wait 45 minutes to get our next call date. When the lawyer returned he sat in the next row loudly talking about "she was censured three times and these judges are letting her go on". He announced that Judge Schulman was the only smart judge in the court and had said this case should be kicked out. Hmm Judges are not allowed to have conversations about cases with one party, no matter if they are in the case or not. That guy would never have known about that judge had I not included my correspondence regarding a Judge who just awarded a formal pleading to a lawyer that was lying. The lawyer stated that there was not enough information about the complaint to answer and yet the other law firm answered weeks before him. When I mentioned this fact, the other law firm did not answer. My question to Judge Schulman was the judge stated I want you to write a statement but, and a big but, he wrote an order for a formal pleading. He did not announce that you will need an attorney nor did he let me argue the motion. All the cites used were frivolous in the motion, they had no relevance. Judge Schulman basically wrote that all the cases were pedestrian so it didn't really matter. He stated in his reply letter that the same Judge had given me a trial court date. This is not only not true but it would have been fraudulent to do so. How could you have a trial date when the pleading had not been submitted or answered? Nope, the clerks office gave that trial bench date to me because I asked how do I get the other law firm into court so they can answer this request for formal pleading. Judge Schulman should have noted that his statement had jurisdictional problems with it. Yep the whole civil court is totally out of order.

As to the lawyer behind me I did hope that he wasn't talking about me because I have never been censured in the court and certainly I did not like hearing that another judge had pronounced my case frivolous after a year and a half of going through three judges.

Lol one of the law firms did not answer the motion to strike and the judge told him when we were away from the bench that he didn't have to because she wasn't granting it. Then she said she would give us a judgment in the mail that evening. She took 2 months and she wrote that I could submit another motion to strike (she wanted me to submit already filed attorney answers) and amendment to the pleading (she wanted me to submit the entire pleading, I only submitted the changed pages). Anyway that's 3 causes of action @ $25,000 each, last time I calculated that is $75,000, yet the judge kept saying over and over on the record that I would only get $25,000 to zero and maybe nothing, yep, he pretty much invalidated the record with that). The lawyers knew that all the facts had been omitted and they saw this judge doesn't like to read any of the records for the court. He just listens to the attorney and then bashes the pro se plaintiff.

I have been suffering from ocular migraine since the current landlord's bed bug fiasco and my trying to deal with two hooligan law firms for the civil case. That judge did not listen to either of us and sent us to mediation though that is not allowed for the dollar range. There the lawyers were allowed to spew out a litany of false statements and I was not allowed to answer them. I told the mediator what good is that. They did not have to hear an answer. You allowed them to answer me. These guys were harassing me before the deposition. Both firms admitted that the other firm was guilty. They did the same sort of mild harassment before we got into court and during the wait for the call my eyes started going blind again. I told the judge, the mediator and the attorneys that and they did not care. I told them I needed more time because I was having sonograms and other doctors visits that had not come to a conclusion yet. They said no. Finally they just broke me down and I just said yes, yes, yes because it was futile. The judge threatened me with the deposition right away. Trust me that was no threat, I welcome that. Its just the way he said it showed me he was not going to give me my fair due of interrogatories. Already these lawyers had submitted ordered discovery with the same denial of answer plugged into each request. I told them at the bench I am letting go of this case because of the bed bugs in my unit, because I am trying to get rid of stress that it is causing me alot of health problems.

The fact is time and time again this court has constantly been prejudiced against me.

The last judge Rose Samuels stated on the bench that I needed an attorney. She answered my question with I don't know, ask an attorney. I live on the poverty line and my case was not frivolous.

The two attorneys put me under alot of fraudulent paperwork and the case went out for 1.5 years. So when the judge asked how long I lived there, 2 years the answer, he said inhabitability would not sell. It did not matter that the entire time I tried to get the landlord/shareholder, the city, HUD and the court to do something. It wasn't a sell. He said if you did not move out it wasn't a sell. Basically what he said is that New York City enforces forced evictions. If you have a problem with excessive cigarette smoke, bed bugs, you must move out at your cost, credit damage and you will not be reimbursed. Its your fault for being poor. Rich people don't have to move out they just get a lawyer and the landlord does what they say or else. I've lived in New York City and paid taxes for 35 years and now what are you going to do next take me to the city borders and give me $35 like you do the homeless folks. Yep on my East 87th street homeless people sleep on the sidewalk right next to the Food Emporium every night. The city knows because a police car came to get rid of a body there. Its a disgrace to humanity. Its not once its every day throughout the year. If you report it just know the City will just dump them out on the border or maybe even worse. In the 70s I saw policemen kicking a homeless person in Grand Central. Yep NYC government is truly are the scourge of humanity. The mayor at that time is just like this mayor, takes credit for doing things for the poor, kicks them on the backside. I have never taken welfare, and ironically I pay 20% fed taxes on my minimal unemployment. You guys are a joke.

Lets see the vacancy rate at the time was 1% and I lived on the poverty line. I had to put in $1000 for window gates and locks because the first few weeks my apartment was being broken into and people were climbing the fire escape. Impossible to call police I did not have a cell phone at the time. They would not have caught them, it would have been too late. Witnesses plentiful, the neighbors concurred in everything I was saying. They said they had been asking for the break ins and smoking to cease for years. I have pictures of the broken into building doors and the knife marks on my door's edge.

When the landlord found out about the witnesses they went to them and told them they had to move or buy their apartment, knowing full well they would not be able to afford to do so.

The civil court served fraud and I noticed the same was going on with credit customers of banks. That the judges were fraternal with them.

Don't give the New York Civil Court your business, take it to a professional.

I am trying to deal with this bed bug landlord on my own, there is no way I will put it in a housing court judges hands. God he'll ask me why I stayed here for three months. Let's see if all your things now have bed bugs in them when you move you'll take them with you and what will you tell your next landlord about why you moved? And what will they do when they find out that their building now has bedbugs. You can bet they won't go after your last landlord.

Let's see this landlord did not clean this apartment (they later sent a clean sheet charging people for everything they did not clean, I totalled it up and its $475 what I cleaned & I cleaned rust off all the stove top and years of meat off the inside of the stove (I am a vegetarian and I don't even use that stove). I spent $900 to move on a $300 move because these landlord kept putting off my move in date on the last day. I have had to spend tons, putting my items in plastic containers (that's where they are now), a vacuum cleaner, extra cleaning items, an independent exterminator, washing clothes and losses of things that had to be thrown out and of course I lost my vision and my sofa bed is ruined. Boy isn't my time worth anything, it has cost me tons of time, pain and suffering. Ocular migraine, bit off my bottom, caused rashes and whelps, did not allow me to sleep for days and days. Constant washing of everything all the time.

Alas, what did the landlord write me after all the harassment notes, they wrote everyone that they had now conquered the bedbugs, claiming 3 exterminations. They wrote to tell them of any bugs continuing. So I did. They wrote me back there are no bugs they did exterminations. I wrote them back the evidence. So the partner shows up unannounced at my apartment and goes to my sofa bed and says where are they? I had just vacuumed but still that's not how bed bugs work. I showed him the floor where bugs were coming up. He says we already put diatemaceous earth in the walls. I say I have been here every day since you have put notice up that you were going to do that. No one knocked or came here. He says ok we'll do it again. Yet again 2 weeks now and nothing. I ask him what he will do about the people playing their band music from 1-3am in the morning, about all the cigarette and incense smoke coming into my apartment. About the toilet that hasn't worked since my move in May 2009. He looked at me in a way that I knew these guys were going to continue to do nothing. They were here in this apartment the first week of May 2009 (two of them) they saw what I was talking about and said they were writing it down and they were taking care of it. I said should I call to followup, no they would take care of it. Taking care of it for them is doing nothing.

I could not do anything, I had a civil court in progress. That is the advice take them to housing court and withhold rent. This landlord requires automatic withdrawal. Yes I can end that bank account but then these landlords will charge me fines for bounce and add $75 to the rent. They are a piece of work. Anyway I am going to the bank to ask them to drop the bank account and put the rent into escrow. I will write these landlords a letter and fax and mail it to them.

Let's see what they are going to do next.

I do not need this stress. What the doctor has found is that I am under alot of environmental stress. That is what I was trying to get more time for that case for. It would have been no point to do depositions because an amendment to pleading and motion to strike were in progress. The judge had stated that the motion to strike could not be submitted until the deposition was complete. She pretty much hammered up this case. It takes tremendous time to get health care, every doctor rejected me as a medicaid patient, hundreds. It took 6 months to get medicaid and then they shafted me on 6 months. They said it starts at the time I apply for it and nothing you can do about that.

What do I do just lie down on the road and let a track loader run me over? pft!

Can you imagine going into court with full fledged correspondence from this landlord, he admits there are bedbugs in this unit, a flyer reveals that they indeed have bedbugs in the building when I moved in and before. They ignore my please to please fill in the floor cracks, ceiling cracks and wall cracks before exterminating and to replace my sofa bed that is not encaseable. They frame me and tell me I am in breach of my lease because they can't open up their lock on the door I rent. They ignore me and persist with the framing.

Then they keep harassing me when I tell them there are still bugs in the apartment.

I really think this fraudulent court will try to spread this across time again and then say inhabitability but you lived there.

What a joke. Take them to an international tribune. Get rid of the current Mayor he put them in there. And what are we going to do about these ballots for judges that have no one running against them. Judge Schulman had no one running against him. When I voted I voted for the opposite judge and if they had noone running I did not vote for them. I pushed the blank button.

If you look at this city its full of violations everywhere. Cranes operating illegally, streets blocked off and pedestrians put in hazardous conditions because there is no other path to take to do their business.

WTF? Metropolitan Commuter Transportation Tax

Just when I am starting to open up a business along comes this slimy insult.

Metropolitan Commuter Transportation Mobility Tax

http://www.tax.state.ny.us/wt/mta_ind.htm

ahem... I never use the public transportation...I walk so what gives.

Yes siree when the MTA raised their prices and lowered their already too low to lower standards and service, well I took to the streets. Doesn't make sense to grind up 1.5 hours when you can walk it 45 minutes or less does it? Sure there are addicts everywhere and dogs taking their hourly grunt all over the sidewalk but hey its much worse on the subway. Once I was pushed so hard that my scoliosis hurt for one week, bear in mind I do not have insurance. It would be safer to be a beginner driver on Sawmill Road than get on the #6 or #4 line at 86th street. Mind you I am never at a door I was just straphanging. Yep, no ipod in my ears, or eating MacDonalds or sipping Starbucks or any of the loony acts of these passengers. Yes someone woman took the ipod out of ears, through her mac papers on the floor and pushed anyone who was in her way so she could exit.

So why will I be taxed? I don't use the service and I don't use automobiles or taxis.

This state is too creepy to crawl in. Its such a farce.

ok so the Rock the Vote was a bit of a downer

I signed off after 20 minutes. There were some good points and info. But ....When they covered a question a second time...oops closed my window.

It was a dumbed down version. When I was the age range they were targeting I was fantastically smart. I do so remember I was one kick ass kid who came to New York City not knowing a sole when I was there age. I did not have insurance. I never went to an ER room until I was 52. The first time I had insurance was when I was employed by a large business and...they were to supplement the $400-500 a month I paid...and as I stated below...I used it one time and was rejected.

The kind of insurance I have right now is very bad, medicaid. It takes days to find someone who will take it and so far there has definitely been a few doctors who were in lalaland. There have been careless radiology centers who said nothing wrong and I had to insist and tell the story about how quickly the hospital gets that back.

I know if I was much younger I would not have watched the Rock the Vote program on Healthcare Reform more than a second. Definitely, not trendy, thumbs down! Because I am older now I will tolerate much more.

One thing more...Rock the Vote to me means "everyone included." I do not for one minute believe that the people from 22 to 29 are the largest portion of uninsured. Prove it. The baby boomers are the largest uninsured.

I found a lot of the "facts" given were just not true. I submitted my remarks to the the moderators as they went along. They said that the cost of the ER room spreads across the whole health care system. Give me a break, charities take care of most of it and then bill collectors victimize the hospital's victim. That is what your audience is telling you about the exaggerated hospital costs and then they charge their victims interest.

Is it not true that ER rooms cost 10-100 x more than going to a doctor and letting them submit you to a clinic or hospital? Yes, from personal experience this is true. At the city hospital they are obligated to take you free if you pass their financial test for that. I did, yet the doctor that scratched his head for all of one minute sent me a professor's bill for $950. This is where the fraud and the costs are folks, get real and start telling the truth for once in your life.

Also the Secretary of Health did not show up. Come on guys you promise something I don't care what you are doing, do what you promise.

So on to congress.org everybody; start educating your respresentatives.

Just think my 80 year old mom is out there calling her Republican representatives in Texas. Now that is a huge load of work. She is telling them she is not scared she won't receive the right health care. Pretty brave after what my dad died of, brave indeed. She has HOPE and she has faith in Obama. I do too, what is the alternative. There is none!

Rock the Reform

I haven't always been in poverty, Poverty happened after the years when a democratic congress started exporting and importing IT jobs/workers (resp.) making it incredibly hard for me. Increasing my commute from one hour to 7 hours daily, things like that. Basically trying to push me out of my homeland.

I sought quality of life by seeking a job in the legal industry (unknown to me it has a color quota on it). I had very early incredibly successful experience in the legal field in the 70s. In the late 90s I was faced with race and age discrimination. Although I had five agencies who I left my calendar open to 7 days 24/7 and they said I was at the top of their list; best skills, most pleasant; I was hardly able to eek a living for a year. I eeked the living from borrowing from my solo 401K, something I have had to do 2x so far.

When I was at peak with a job offer that had just an administrator's approval I got sick for 3 days due to environmental exposure of which my landlord had 6 months notice. It was Christmas Day 2007 so tens of relatives knew that I was deathly ill; they were calling me and hearing me not even able to speak. I could not go to an ER room they would overcharge me $1000s. I had to take care of myself.

After that law firm blacklisted me for illness (of course they'll tell you they got a new budget, but sadly I always bumped into their younger new hires). I did not have employment no matter what I did. So stop downing people in poverty, you most likely are benefiting from their impoverishment.

That's how I feel about insurance care. They are trying to purge Americans again. God they sent all my classmates to their death in Vietnam and now they are going to take care of the rest of us. This is war and denial of reform can only mean a change in the way we live. Democracy (is there such a thing?) will no longer exist if it ever did. There will be a revolution.

I want health care. I do not want insurance at all. Kick their ass out of the system. When I made alot of money I had to pay $400-500 a month for health care that I never used. The one time I used my health insurance was due to broken tendon in my foot accomplished by using the subway stairs. I was told by the insurance company that they would not cover me on it because it was a luxury.

I believe that everyone in America deserves "the best" healthcare. Our people are our resources and if they are not in the game, then what? What do we have? Hardly a life that's for sure.

I support Obama's health care reform plan with public option. I believe he did help me. Even if not by action he did so by name recognition. In every struggle I had with medicaid since he was president I always said Obama will be copied on this as well as other government representatives. Today I only have been awarded begrudingly 4 months of medicaid.

LOL I've worked over 40 years and paid generously into the system and my minimum unemployment gets federally taxed.

Today Rock the Vote has a rocking forum about Health Care Reform. Not really sure of your own personal position??? Have you been swayed by others? Maybe you don't have the big picture. I urge you to participate.

I settled the civil court case yesterday in court

We had settled pre-deposition. The attorneys were a bit of a bully then, two against one, with no mediator or court representative. I was suffering from ocular migraine (unknown to me at the time except for its symptoms). Major triggers for ocular migraine are second hand smoke and stress, both plentiful in an environment that has been infested with bed bugs since May 2009.

Both attorneys sent me legal documents through email, no phone calls, no snail mail. It sufficiently ticked me off that I would now most likely have to spend hours editing their flimsy legalese.

The landlord wanted out of the HUD case. The person overseeing my case had said it was a win but really the case has been federally filed since November 2007 with no moves on that agency's part; moves all mine; way too much work. There ought to be a law against that.

The landlord wanted out of a civil case and HUD case where the evidence for negligence and inhability was a win for me for $2,000. The shareholder wanted out for $1500 in installments.

I decided to wait until the court date unless I heard from the lawyers. I did not.

At court these lawyers were at their lying best; stating I had refused depositions. Actually the first deposition notice was slipped into other legal papers and its date and time was the same date as their court date. It was an impossibility that I refused it and that it was legit. I was there at the second deposition and they started in on me that I would not win, the judges were against me and that I had no evidence and I would never be able to find the ER person. I just said it sounds like you want to settle and I can't take this stress.

I already have to deal with a manipulative landlord on bedbugs who managed to skirt the city officials by doing a little bit but not enough. The whole entire building has been infested since and before May 2009 and the landlords harassed back in retaliation when I asked upon moving in May 2009. Its quite stressful hundreds of pictures of my bottom being bitten off, whelps the whole works, pictures of insects, caught insects on type. Not fun, stressful. Bands playing next door at 1-3 am in the morning and all day on the weekends and major smokes. Yes my present is quite full of stress and pollutants; something the landlords from the "past" counted on.

The judge said this case has been here too long. He was not up on on the order that allowed an amendment and a motion to strike. He said this goes to the mediator, if we can't settle it there I will settle it.

We spent two hours and could not settle. I have a list of what the lawyers stated and the lies within or rather misrepresentations and false statements. There was proof in the Exhibit Binder that has been with the court for over 8 months; a binder that is 400 pages.

The judge said you have lived there for so years so inhabitability is not going to be a win. There must be some value for you. I said I did not have money to move because I was so taken aback by that judge now saying that.

He was the same judge who a year ago; meaning I had lived in the apartment less than one year and he let the case go on. The judge knew the case had been filed pretty much after more than reasonable notice and time for landlord and shareholder to do something. I was in the right. After he and I quickly agreed to the paltry sum, I said one more thing the entire time I was living in that apartment I was in court, hud, or with the city about the inhabitability. I think in the court that will sell. He looked down.

Oh yeah, he was the one who gave me the lecture a year ago for interrupting a lying lawyer. They know I am articulate and can win the case. They know that I can make 5x that much if I apply the time on my websites and so do I. That it is not about the money, it is about changing the way coops operate, that is that they operate outside the law.

New York City housing is about 90% coops and condos, the issue is BIG. These coops get big tax breaks from city, state and federal taxation and they save oodles by not taking care of their buildings and the apartments within. I will go on with this but in a more effective court and manner. Will these parties be called in? Certainly not by me, however, the City might want to sue them after I get through with the City. And that my friends will be the big joke on this court. Not to say anything less about that judge, he was definitely the most intelligent judge in that court and the most experienced. He's right in this civil court case its just not worth it because a win means nothing to the City.

I was in shock because the mediation was rough and stressful for me. Two law firms misrepresenting what is already proven. Gosh I did not think this has ever been worth my time. The mediator said that I would have to spend alot of money on experts. The other said that even if I won it would not change things in the city. I have to let go of stress, at the mediation I started to lose my eyesight again, I had a headache.

So we go back to the judge and he asked me to size down the money. So we settle on 1/5 of the money and he spends the next 1.5 hours getting the lawyers to buckle on giving $1,500 more. I could have earned $1500 in that hour. I heard the judge saying that I did not have to provide experts, and that he has seen people win these cases. I'm going wtf!

I am totally sick of this. I admired the way the judge told one of the lawyers to leave me alone. He is the one who gives the sob story for his shareholder that she has no money, she is not even paying him. I am saying do you know how many hours, days, months I spent trying to get some legal help? If she couldn't afford a lawyer she could have come to court as a pro se. That is what I did and I am impoverished due to her actions. Its not just that I was apparently blacklisted at this law firm that I have returned to for a week here and there after 2 years, its that not getting that promised perm job put my entire future in jeopardy. My resume was rejected time and time again for not having any tenure at a law firm in the past 10 years. The six years that I spent at that firm were disclaimed as temporary work.

So what did I get. I got less than what it cost me to bring and manage this case. The money goes to pay the debt for that money. Its not luxury money or maintenance money by any means.

I got $5,000 of which $2,000 I will be the banker. The shareholder will be allowed to pay me each month with a five day cure period. When they default I must give notice to the lawyer by email. Then I must file a judgment with them then owing $5,000. And of course since they already have a mortgage they can afford a lien and let it go on for a lifetime. The next time they want a loan of any kind though they won't get it unless they pay me at 9% interest or whatever the rate is.

How do I know? I have a lien on someone and they have refused to pay the city's judgement for well over six years. There are ways to work around the lien and also they have alot of liens so mine will be subordinate. i.e. it will never be paid.

Anyway I am rid of these stressful liars who use the civil court to perpetuate their negligence.

I have experience. I also became more determined that I do have a suit with the city. I am just waiting for January to conclude all the medical examinations. There are always subset parties and the evidence is the same. It turns out that I may have cancer I am just getting additional sonograms. When you expose women of my age to oppressive smoke conditions what do you get, you get cancer. Its no surprise. I was trying to get out of that place but unfortunately I was employed when I moved in and my employment possibilities had been ransacked so that I could not move into a better place.

Its very hard to find a decent landlord if you do not have a job. That is why I have this piece of work landlord. However even geekboy say they are far more superior to the last landlord. Its an amazing thing to say because the frames to the doors and closets are all cracked (its one of the first places you look for bed bugs). The landlord came by again without notice and he goes so where are the bed bugs. I had just finished vacuuming. I said you will have to come back in a couple of hours or so, then you can see them.

I so hate that that dermatologist only wanted to see me naked. That he did not have enough pride in his job to look in my scalp. I even asked him to. I feared I might have lice. Bed bug nymphs and lice look the same. He goes you don't have anything growing in your skin, you are a healthy young woman with flawless skin. Ah, but there are two places on my leg that he should have looked at. He only put the magnifying glass on my face. Well that face is a beautiful one and it is indeed flawless.

Maybe he was just bedazzled by me? Anyway the nurse that should have been in the room looked very stressfully at me as I came out. He had told her to go away.

Geez Louise, this is exactly what happened at the City hospital, Harlem Hospital. The guy doesn't even given me the grace of a curtain. He says just take off your top. But I say its like leprosy all over me. He frowns and says its just chicken pox. Then he sees and says, scratching his head, you would have to have been really sick to get this. He will not authorize the prescription made by Columbian Presbyterian ER room for steroids. He says it will complicate matters. I say she says I have a full blown case and that the steroids will cut down the time to six week recovery and prevent scarring. He says no and gives me a penny sulfa subscription that I have to wait 8 hours for. Insult enough? No a month later although I had been cleared of all financial costs because I live in poverty line I am sent a professors bill for $959. They even send bill collectors after me for it. I ignore them; ignorance should be ignored. No not insult enough. The chicken pox was not fully healed until 8 months later and six months down the road it was fairly full blown. I got really sick from the sulfa and read that it is never diagnosed after the case is full blown. I get scars one of which is the spot that now I am told has to be remammogrammed and sonogrammed asap. However they can't give me an appointment until November 12 and I must look for another center.

I tell the dermatologist about the chicken pox and how the skin changed and since the bed bugs a rash. He says that's normal skin. I am at the ob/gyn yesterday and I show her and she is appalled at what I showed and told her.

I had told my primary physician that he was frivolous with me. I guess I should have said more but she had no interest. One thing I am grateful to her for is allowing me to see an opthomologist and for giving me ventrolin for wheezing. There is some intelligence behind that and its rare you will find it in the medicaid system.

I went back to Small Business on the Workforce1 site

Perhaps that new DJ is moving mountains at New York State IT whatever?

then go to entrepreneurs.

I am filling out the app for the fast trac but got sidetracked at Apple developers conference.

Be back soon...on that one.

Like I said I am going to get that game into action.

p.s.
No, I have not broken the Mafia Wars addiction, I've just reduced consumption greatly. LOL I haven't seen one single Mayor Bloomberg ad on there today.

Its not that I dislike him, or that I don't get some of the things he does. I know he has helped alot of people. One lawyer told me that he thought the mayor had probably helped me that time my roommates and I froze solid for 10 days...unfortunately nobody would have been able to help us unless they had actually come down there with a furnace fixer upper and then, oh my what they would have found was a major violation, carbon monoxide being spewed into our apartment. My german roommate who now lives safely and happily in Hawaii and I just fainted on the nearest bed suddenly.

Yeah, I just would first like a mayor who is going make housing a place for a person to have a safe home.... hmm no candidates running on that platform so I will not vote. Back to small business....

Yet another interview with a Workforce1 Vendor

Ok

I am going to go get my letter from this vendor tomorrow, Saturday. The plan is 3 letters, 3 IT grant reviews and bingo, "1" has to satisfy whoever I get down there at Workforce 1.

I decided to go to the Labor Department's 3-hour orientation on Monday (if there is no work of course). They will tell me about all the programs that I've already been using. LOL I just want to stay off their "hitlist".

This vendor states that I had such a rich background that she did not think they were giving me the right information at Workforce1. I would be very successful as a paralegal. Well that's not exactly what I'm targeting, just a qualification to compete in litigation assistant jobs.

I asked about the WorkForce "hitlist" (hey that's the word Workforce1 and their vendors are using; perhaps they play Mafia Wars?) This vendor answered that they were forced to lower their prices.

Ahem, what actually happened is that WorkForce1 made it so that the student would have to pay more money.

I must show a bit of sarcastic concern here. At an orientation for the IT grant one counselor told us that a woman asked for a grant that she would have to pay $3,000 more on and she was receiving unemployment. Hell-o unemployment is not welfare, it is insurance. The people who receive it have earned it and it is not based on your income as to whether you receive it. It is not a poverty program.

Good, glad to finally get that one off my chest. I was so busy defending the poor souls that sat at that particular orientation table that I didn't have the chance to ventilate.

yada, yada I'll add the computer class letter tomorrow too and the outcome will make a tres amusante, can't wait!

Avant garde bankruptcy reaps instant recovery

Yoji Yamamoto received his law degree in 1966 from Keio University and in 1981 he made his Paris fashion debut. In 2008, he created Yohji Yamamoto Fund for Peace (YYFP), a joint venture with China’s government designed to promote better Sino-Japanese relations through fashion.

What an extraordinary resume!

Today, Japanese designers are doing well in Japan, immediately after bankruptcy, ahem.

Its no wonder that a non-trend designer would be instantly reorg'd.

Perhaps Mr. Yamamoto could teach Obama some lessons about stimulus programs and peace?

Today I visited one of the vendors for the ITG Workforce1 program

I visited ITG last weekend and they didn't like my resume.

I said if you were in IT you would think differently. You just need to know the technology and understand how important the companies I worked for are. When an IT person looks at this it means something.

Problem is there are no desireable jobs in IT and if there were they are not taking me, they are requiring a master's degree.

I was there to get a grant for a database programming course that tests you on all the database programs and proves practical experience.

ITG was saying you'll never get the grant because they put that course on the hitlist.

Previously I had posed a grant for a paralegal as the last six years I have assisted the stars of the bankruptcy cases and of course, I was the pro se in my trial against landlords who were negligent.

I was told no that course has been hitlisted because companies are hiring recent college grads and they train them.

So today I went to one of the vendors directly and again, they said appraisal was hitlist because there are so many financial people who can do the job. That was too much. That is discrimination and preferential. I can do the appraisal job much better than those financial people for sure and you are discriminating against me.

The only jobs were managing lower income properties. So I got their letter for the comprehensive course and will apply. I will find a way to make it work for me.

I can get a loan to return to school but I would lose my unemployment benefits. I have received no extensions or emergency whatever. What the NYDOL did was scrap together some more of my time so that I got a minimal payment from them. This made them very happy as they cheated me of $200 a week and the rightful extension I was due. :P Still I don't want to lose it.

If I take college courses they'll ask how many hours and then say ok you are not entitled. But if I do the same weekend and night courses through one of the "let me out of here" vendors the labor department will nod their crowned head and say ok, alright. That is why I waste my time with this crapola.

Tomorrow I will visit the paralegal vendor and hear what the Labor department just wrote them. Mostly amusement but you never know I might find a wee bit of a hole to achieve what I am trying for. Commercial real estate appraiser paralegal. I can get a job as a Commercial real estate agent I was hired years ago, but can I survive on it. I don't think so, the guy said you have to have money to live off of for a month. That my friends I do not have.

Saturday I will file the grant after having worked on it for six weeks of the Labor Department constantly changing the program.

The mission of workforce 1 is to allow anyone in New York State that makes $56,000 or less, whether they are employed or not, to change fields or move up in their field through a grant that provides training to do so. The training must provide the only remaining element that is required to achieve your gain in employment. The States purpose is to make you a more profitable entity so they may get more taxes from you.

The problem is by being so narrow minded they have lost their point; they have not been successful or they would not be changing their program so much. There is little chance that they will ever be successful, they are too schizophrenic.

If you invest in people and let them follow their bliss they will be successful. However if you discriminate, cheat and control them, well you'll end up with the garbage can that is now New York State. ta da! Ought to know, I'm in it, though I do try to remain aloof.

Mafia Wars and Mayor Bloomberg's picture

Too funny! When I reflect on my past with Mafia Wars I remember seeing Mayor Bloomberg's various ads for Mayor. Oh my gosh, we were so plastered with them. I was giggling all the time.

Mafia Wars is a social game and that is what I'll miss about it the most, that is what I liked about it the most. The good in people and the nastiness in people, its all fun and good.

But hey, if a player doesn't all0w you to play because they are trying to get weanie of the year, then I'll just develop my own game. I have one from 10 years ago that now after playing this one I say wow you dudedess are so much better!

So its time to give the addiction up. I am almost Master Boss with 2,800 family members and I'm still there, just absent. So watch your step. LOL Trendy Princess is alive and I'll just go there and keep adding the 5 level up points to my defense so some weanie's hitlist men don't keep me from leveling up. LMAO

p.s. as to this post's title, here is another giggle for anyone who cares; both NYC mayoral candidates suck. I won't vote because Mayor Bloomberg has already won, he owns the city and nobody is going to stop him. Multi-billions can buy you the city that is the extreme and that most people think is not part of the United States yet takes a majority of its welfare tax dollars. I think the whole United States should vote for who becomes mayor of NYC. Don't you?

The ocular migraine highlights the Chemical Exterminations of this Landlord

I understand that landlords feel the need to eradicate bugs the cheapest way they can and the City does not stop them.

These landlords are no exception. The first extermination was a regularly scheduled one the exterminator told me as a neighbor grabbed him away. He did not come back. What happened the next day I started having flashing around my eyes as I was walking outside. I could not figure it out. I had not eaten the right foods? And it would continue up until about two weeks ago when I think the landlord stop doing its exterminations.

It was incredibly scary because not only were there flashes around my head but a black dark film kept passing over my eyes and I could not see.

I never had visual problems with my eyes at all. I truly thought wow dudedess your time is up!

I had tried to get a doctor and none would take me, then I finally got medicaid and then all those doctors would not take me. Finally by mistake a private physician took me and that is only why I am getting a remote semblance of health care. I am to find out next wednesday the state of my asthma. I have no health problems outside of that and now my eyes.

Good because I am one of those folks that never had a primary doctor in their whole 56 years :P

Once I had private insurance through my Wall Street job and I tried to use it and they said no the foot doctor I went to wasn't on their list. I had broken the tendon in the foot. Ha! I paid $300 a month for that insurance and my company said they paid more than that. I noticed private insurance is of what use? My dad had private insurance and medicare and who was around to help with him in the end nada! and they used him as a guinea pig, very poor care. I will never forget.

If this country does not try to use their noodle and get the insurance industry out of the business of health care and focus on improving the environments of people's housing and cities then what can I do? Right now I do not read the newspaper or listen to the news and turns out I am the most educated person around.

DUH!

My first eye examination ever

Like my primary physician this doctor was actually sane.

He listened to what I asked about, the flashing lights and the floaters. He also was concerned about the bed bugs and their continuation in my apartment. He said that was bad.

He has this machine where after he dilates your eyes (never had that done also) he can look out of your eyes. He saw the flashing and the floaters. He said the flashing is ocular migraine and if it happens again report it to my primary physician.

As to the floaters he said he could prescribe medicine but that might not help them. He gave me an appointment to come back in a year for a dilation.

He asked me if I wore glasses, answer no. I asked him if I had passed that eye test. He said in flying colors. I said good because I didn't have to guess half as much as the last one.

The doctor asked where are you from. I said New York City for 35 years. But before that? Houston, Texas. No wonder he said. I said oh because I am in such good health. He said yes, but mentally so much better. See, I told you the others are totally 100% out of their mind.

Today I think I might have finally quit playing Mafia Wars

I like the people that I've met there.

But the game company that makes the game is way too exploitive.

They allow people to put others on the hitlist multiple times in a row for no reason except for that they are too weak to fight their opponent. What happens to their opponent is they are put out of commission, they can't play. Its an odd defense mechanism. If a 400 + person attacks you playing the game its a bully, if they are a hitman that's fine.

Anyway the game is tedious, you get to feeling like you are just swapping images and la de dah dah. Time to leave it.

The company never resolved the FRS scam. Just ignored it because let's face it if I twitter it up they'll get alot of publicity. That's why I don't twitter it up.

I might give it to the Attorney General in their state though. If you offer something and then you don't deliver that's fraud no matter how small the amount of money. Others have told me they have been scammed by the game company also.

It comes down to it, are you going to keep playing with crooks or just create your own uncrooked game. Latter, please.

But why would Billionaire coop owners on the Upper East Side not do the right thing for the bed bugs?

Exactly.

What I asked of them is that before any extermination that they

(1) Remove and Replace the $500 leather sofa bed that their expert bed bug beagle had found infested. This sofa bed did not arrive on the upper east side infested. They did the damage.

(2) That they provide a place for me to be for the two days required for an asthmatic to be away after the apartment was fumigated. (They have several hundred buildings in New York City).

(3) That they repair the holes and open slats in the floor, the cracks around the air conditioner and the radiator (including the broken cover); the cracks in the seams of the ceiling and walls and the holes in the walls. These all were items they have had on their work list since I moved in on May 2009 and to this date, still not done.

All of the above requests are on the New York City and State list of things to do before attempting extermination of bed bugs.

What I got in return as stated in previous posts was a harassment letter, framing me, stating 1) they could not get entry into my apartment and they would have to drill a hole. 2) their email response to my answer to them was that I wasn't there to give them entry so I was in breach of my lease. I again repeated my request to them and they ignored completely again. They wrote you weren't home. Honestly, they never requested me to be home and as a renter I would not be required to do so. But duh, I was home on that date all day and the other date I was home and they did not show and that time I emailed them "Another No Show, Waiting". The unscrupulous 17 page lease states that they must have the keys to entry to the apartment for mainenance and fumigations. Well, they had keys to this apartment because the keys are the same that they gave to me. I did not change the locks. To see the locks you would have a laugh riot. There is no way anyone but them would install such a shabby lock and also, I have my medico locks packed away in a tea canister. Since the rental agents these landlords use have come barging into my apartment without knocking three times with such keys, well?

Yeah these guys are a piece of work, so yes, that's why Billionaire coop owners on the Upper East Side can't get it together to get rid of bed bugs in their building. That's why they have to blame the whole hood. Really makes you wonder about our economy, these billionaires and New York City, huh! (like in football)

ooh la ... look what I just found ....re bed bugs

http://medicalconsumers.org/2006/06/01/bedbugs-one-woman’s-experience/

This woman couldn't find the bed bugs that haunted her at night and during the day. Her dermatologist told her that you can't tell the bug from the bite.

Yet here I sit in the dermatologist's office with a bag full of them; I have pages of them. I have pictures of them. Why he could have played mix and match if he had wanted to. I even have these critters crawling (contrary to some experts belief) across a plasticized cover that I had managed to bind to the leather sofa with duct tape.

Oh yeah, as soon as that flyer DON'T BOMB your apartment with full admittance to previous infestation came out I went out and bought a cover and made it work to some degree. My sofa does not have a mattress or anything that can be encased. Duh, like its a sofa, not a bed and duh, I have an itsy bitsy one room apartment with one window, no ventilation and tons of smokers around me and spiders, white nymphs and bed bugs oh my & no support!

I can't use the housing court because these guys have announced, and show slow progress towards finding the cheapest solution possible. From Late June until Mid September 2009 they kavetched, one penny or two pennies, eanie, meanie, miney mo!

And doh! is what they chose.

In May 2009 I steamed sprayed my tiniest closet and washed down the whole thing, took down the doors and put in brand new screws because my clothes were smelling like that sickening sweet and my arms would get these consecutive rashes and pains. So it stopped.

Then the regular insect exterminators that were scheduled every month came and skipped my apartment. i.e. they big time scatter bed bugs all over the building. Within days my eyes started flashing and for the first time in my life I got floaters (and I had to google to figure it out, major freaky). I wasn't sleeping as I was being awoken by something but I did not know what or why.

Then even more flyers from the hogs! I was proactive and took so many steps. I followed any direction they gave me to the T. I plastic bagged all my things. Today they are in Home Depot $3.99 plastic 18 gallon containers and Container Store Watertight storage boxes. Don't ask me how I got the money or the energy, but I did. I scraped and I struggled with it all. No support, whatsoever.

I went to Housing Court, but once they said that was irrelevant to the entry problem question and that the judge would be deciding my life; I ran so fast out of that court.

I bought the canister vacuum though I could not afford it. I vacuumed every day even though the bully from downstairs came up after one minute and demanded to know if I was ruining the floor, he tried to poke his head in. Again it turned it out the noise he was complaining of came from up above me. This is the second time he has come banging at my door demanding about some noise that isn't even in my realm to create. Lots of noises and smokes here and he creates many with his children and barking dog (I tolerate). He has the apartment downstairs and claims he owns most of the building, hardy har har. It sounds like he chases rentals out of the building, encourages them to "burn" the sponsor (lol, totally the other way around).

I put oxy spray in the cracks in the floor of my bedroom. I finally took desperate measures and sprayed the eggs glued in the floor varnish with 91% alcohol. Oh I tested on other areas of the floor, but apparently not that much. Yep it came up and it took me about 9 hours to clean it up. So I'll ask them for some of their varnish and I'll revarnish it. Besides which most of that area was scratched deeply by whatever before me (thank goodness I took pictures before I moved in, cause these hogs are rats!)

The desperate measure gave me a whole week of sleep. I spray my leather couch with the 91% solution as much as I can. I also spray the floor and my couch with murphy's oil. Anything for some relief. Constantly washing clothes. And we don't have a laundry in our building it is about 5 blocks down.

Then the hogs started exterminating and more and more of the bed bugs came in. I had told them I am allergic and asthmatic so please don't do that while I am in the building. Please make arrangements. They ignored me and began the threat letters. I found out later that the apartment next to me (also a rental) was empty and had been so for months. They had a place to move me but they chose not to. Again, no support! I was pleading with them for relief and they were ignoring me.

What did these hogs do exactly? They started writing me letters that I was not cooperating? Why? Because their super could not open my door? Did anyone ask me? No, they just started sending threat emails to me, ignoring anything I said, talking over me. It was not enough that they sucked my blood through $1100 a month rent and knowing full well there were bed bugs in my apartment since May 2009. They knew my apartment was not ready for me to move in, but they insiste3d I move in. They knew it was not clean because I told so several times before moving in. I asked them before moving in and they told me that was taken care of I spent the next three days cleaning an absolutely filthy apartment. I have taken every single cleaning that I did, before and after. Why? The court is a bitch.

Now they were trying to throw me out and this was the second time. The first time was when I asked about the bed bugs in May 2009. Too funny, such hogs, unbelieveable.

Even had they asked me for keys to their lock (LOL & LMAO) and I had done so apparently their intelligence level is far below mine and the problem of entry would still be the problem for them.

They wrote: If we cannot get into your apartment we will drill a hole and charge you.

I wrote drill all you want but charge yourselves, its your lock.

When I saw those cheezy locks I said ok enough I am not wasting my money on buying them locks like what happened with the last hog. No way.

Do you see how one story leads to another and another. This is New York City under Mayor Bloomberg. Trust me I would know, I went through all the mayors since 1973 and this one phew! does he ever think about anything but himself and his company? Unlikely.

Yeah, I will run for mayor next time. He had better not demand a fourth term!

Medicaid should be closed down...Its Buggy!

I've been battling with this very bad system for about six years, two times. They were always 2Late on everything to help.

This time around for four months I was told I did not qualify for poverty's grand prize and then finally after some pushing I was offered a modification of the truth. On the piece of paper they send out Medicaid debited me for the four months that they said I did not qualify, they said that I had Medicaid then. That means I get Medicaid for three months and then the battle of four months will begin again.

hehehe this City indeed let its crazy people out and guess where they went, not right here, that's for sure. I am indeed one of the only sane people in this city. The Mayor thinks excessive subway noise is something you should expect and that constant construction is the harmonious quiet and safe standard for the city. You cannot walk down one street without finding at least three people smoking like a train stack, moving as such, zig zag and a dog defecating right on the street, in the middle and then a good pee for measure. The owner oblivious to the process, too involved with their master, the ciggy.

And what for, this remarkable struggle for Medicaid? Not one good doctor on their list that will accept it. Private doctors refuse Medicaid. Hospitals will take it and managed care units. Thing is those doctors are a crock.

I visited my second crocked doctor today. A dermatologist. I have been battling aggressive bed bugs, etc since July 2009.

There were signs of the bedbugs in May 2009, when I moved in and neighbors warned me (don't put anything on the floor, don't buy new furniture, its because of the kind of people who live here lol). I asked the hogs and they asked "do you have bedbugs?"

hahaha! Wait until we get this one in court. These hogs sent out a flyer stating that they had an infestation in the building around the time I moved in. Noting also that the entire East 87th Street block had bedbugs (wow! can't wait to bring them all into court as witnesses!)

Of course, the neighbors speak and on my floor two apartments had bedbugs and the tenants moved out. One guy had bug bombed his apartment. The result was scatter, bed bugs do cross the hall for better feeds, they find pesticides annoying. If my closet smelled like a sickening sweet putrid almond and the edges are now bloody (apparently the fumigation happened there), duh, this has been going on a long time. LMAO this landlord writes "there is nothing to fear from bed bugs, they are just annoying." Love to see him get one up his A** and then let's talk.

What I asked of the doctor is the rash on my chest and the red holes in my skin and what he answered was normal skin.

He had overheard the nurse question me about medicine, never take it, never go to doctors. Don't you find it amazing that you fill out a form both on the phone and on a piece of paper when you come in and they still have to ask you how old you are?

The doctor starts out you are a healthy young person with flawless skin. I said so that's it, no checkup or anything? So he looks at my skin with his eyes and says nothing. Then he puts the magnifying glass on my face. Hmm if I had lice this guy definitely is not going to find it that way, if there are bugs of any kind, not there.

"There is a rash on my chest, there are bug bites," I question him again. I show him, he says normal skin.

He gives me a lecture about people who go from doctor to doctor trying to find bugs and its all in their mind. He has a name for it but I refuse to keep clutter in my mind.

When I related the crock experience to my 80-year old mom she laughed and laughed. She laughed at everything this doctor stated. You mean he did not want to look at the bugs or the letters. No he was not interested, he said that was the past. LOL the past for me happens about every so many minutes in my apartment.

I give him a lecture about how my landlord had a bed bug beagle in my room and found them at the end of my leather couch, the flyers from said landlord that there are bedbugs in the building, their letters stating there are bedbugs in my unit and that they are exterminating. (lol, they did not show up both times they scheduled but showed up a few weeks later unscheduled and the guy lied his ass off to me. As a consequence I was sick for four days in a row with wheezing and throat whelped.)

Before my visit to whack doctor, I took a shower and washed my hair. Why? because they drive me up the wall in my clothes and I can't bear it. I take the bugs off me when I find them put them on scotch tape and date and time them in a notebook. The first ones were so many I put them in several layers of bags.

The physician then decides to be a little more reliant after that little lecture of mine. That's when he did the BIG laborious skin cancer test. Putting a magnifying glass on my face. Oh yeah, a woman is definitely going to have cancer on her face. Not! most women wear makeup and that protects the skin. No he did not look on my legs where there is a spot, legs that had first degree burns from the sun 20 years ago. That's ok like my grandfather before me I take it off myself. Because medicaid doctors are whack, they don't care about their patients. Their game is to pontificate, stereotype judge and only take care of the patients where they can extract the BIG dollars. Very sick patients are their game, they have no use for what this doctor stated "very healthy, very flawless skin."

That was not why I was there. I already knew I was very healthy and had flawless skin. I am only there to see what to do about the assaults upon such perfection by the other whack team in this New York City, the hog landlords, grunt, grunt...

Well I will get some money and I'll get a private dermatologist so I can have a real skin cancer test and see about these bugs. Then I am going to publish the transcript from this visit and the real findings from a real private doctor. I am going to push it in front of this physicians' group so hard they will wish they had had a mammogram instead.

You suck! I waited four weeks and went through 20 private doctors offices stating: "Medicaid? We don't take it, sorry." I waitied 35 minutes in line for my "appointment" with this doctor only to experience this insult.

As far as I knew, a person was entitled and encouraged to have a skin cancer screen test every few years and I have never had one. I went to the dermatologist on my own money 20 years ago for a cyst and they did a 15-minute operation and apologized afterwards because it should have been done in a hospital. I know what I am talking about when I go to a doctor because I never go to one unless there is a really good reason. Why? They are nonsense, they swear to the hypocrits' oath and like I said I do most of the operations myself. But wait... didn't I just get a scolding for not having ever had a mammogram in my life (a move that proved most smart!). Isn't it funny that they don't want to feel up my lungs or look at my scalp but they want to wring out my boobs and see if anything healthy is left? Amusant indeed!

When I could not be seen for two months for a stye on my eye that was so huge I could not see I just did the operation myself. A friend talked me into going to the hospital to make sure I did not get a blood infection. They charged me $700 to pat me on the back and say I had done a good job, they checked my vision and said it was perfect, even though I had to ask them am I looking for numbers or the alphabet and guessed at most of it. LOL what a crock. The only thing they clucked about was my golden egg, rare blood type. I told the vampires not me, not on any night.
