My mom has barely been hanging in; however she's pulling through.
She is a very strong person.
I asked myself this last week will I really lose her?
I'd always wanted to spend the last years with my parents but I have been prohibited from doing so because I am a plaintiff in a case that started May 2008 and is still going on. I can't say more, but lets just say the New York City Civil court is not the place to take any suit, go higher. I don't know what this court is for; except dispensing with the victims of banks. In my case I am the victim of negligent landlords, the worst in the city. Its been most instructive to see the lack of law and the fraternity of bank lawyers and judges. My case is about second hand smoke.
I feel my loss has been made tremendously greater due to the negligence of these landlords and the city. I will win, there is no way I cannot, however I wish there was a way out so I could visit my mom. Oh and when I get out of this court, there are many more courts to take these losers to, no doubt I will, because what else will I have to lose.
I think my dad and mom lost me when I took this case. I took this matter to the city, they failed, to HUD, they failed, to civil court, they cannot fail, it is not legally possible and then this will go to the Supreme Court and the International Courts. It is absolutely inhumane what these landlords have done to me while the City just sat informed and watching every step of the way.

The Obama Promise broken at WorkForce1
I've been going to this great job provider WorkForce1 in New York City to see what its all about. I want to see this Mr. Bloomberg at work. I've tested out his fruitcarts now lets see how he has taken care of our unemployed.
What I found was heartbreaking. I saw young black and hispanic men turned away for the professional driver's training.
Why?
...because New York State Labor Department determined that not enough people were being hired as professional drivers after training in order to merit the cost of such training. Folks keep in mind, the most our great state of New York offers its people is $2200 max for training per person. A mere cost of $220,000 a month maybe for candidates of the professional driving? Come on you were given a billion to provide for the real victims of our stimulus / bailout .
What did they do?
They cut off the chances of these young men without notice. Many of them had been in the WorkForce1 system for a month working towards the grant class that would announce that they would have to have two years of provable professional driver's experience in order to take the professional driver's training course offered by Workforce1 vendors. humma if that makes sense because I kid you not.
Our New York State Labor Department has clearly missed the point of training a workforce. One wonders if the trained candidates were analyzed as to what actually prevented them from employment after their professional driver's training.
The how many employed, how many completed training guide (see New York City's training guide) records on the website for each training provider are minimal for any category. Listed Viable occupations in New York City were actually not found to be a true reflection. Legal secretaries are not being hired unless they have long tenure from another firm. No training required. Yet they are listed in the training guide. Paralegals are being hired without training by lawfirms (and always have been), they are either first year law school graduates or recent top college graduates. Again no training required, yet they are listed. Plenty of English training for non-english speaking but absolutely no Spanish classes for only English speaking. Yet a majority of jobs in the workforce are for bilingual applicants. How discriminatory can you get? I can go on and on about the lack of hope in the WorkForce1 offerings, I think you at least will get the point.
I wrote Mr. Obama well over two months ago about my own plight with injustice and he did not answer one bit. I went on to win those fights for myself.
I am not all about myself and I ask Mr. Obama, are you?
My heart goes out to these young men and God Bless their Soul. I will do everything I can within my own elite skills to help you, but it will take time.
Meanwhile standup. Do not take no for answer, ask to speak to the supervisor. Show them proof that you were in the system for this ITG grant before the decision to require professional experience in order to get professional training for it.
Its your right to receive this training. Standup and don't take no. Keep asking for the supervisor or management that can make a decision on your behalf. And do write Mr. Obama who after all promised to help you as a young man trying to earn a living in this kind of impossible employment situation.
I hope you will join my efforts and contact the following and tell them you want them to rollback this decision and contact the hundreds of young men they turned away. They have the records, just start counting back a month from last week and contact all those people you turned away from training that is rightfully theirs. I will put up a legal petition after some more research and put the link here tomorrow.
Mr. Obama
